Journalism clown world strikes again.
A New York Times reporter who specializes in COVID-19 coverage tweeted that it was “racist” to even talk about the Wuhan lab leak theory.
The lab leak issue has received a wave of attention following the Biden’s administration’s announcement that a 90 day investigation would be conducted into its veracity.
The NYT itself also reported yesterday that the U.S. intelligence community has been sitting on a “raft” of evidence pertaining to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
However, Apoorva Mandavilli, who in her bio says she reports for the NYT “mainly” on COVID, asserted in a tweet that even discussing the issue was “racist.”
“Someday we will stop talking about the lab leak theory and maybe even admit its racist roots. But alas, that day is not yet here,” tweeted Mandavilli.
She faced immediate pushback and subsequently deleted the tweet.
“It damages the NYT’s reputation to have a key reporter on the most important story of the year say a valid news angle shouldn’t be discussed because it has “racist roots.” Aren’t they supposed to be in the news business?” asked Josh Barro.
“Oh my god: I didn’t realize what her job is,” remarked investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald. “Can someone explain to me why it’s racist to wonder if a virus escaped from a Chinese lab, but it’s not racist to insist that it infected humans because of Chinese wet markets? If anything, isn’t the latter more racist?” he asked.
For nearly a year, President Donald Trump was repeatedly smeared as a racist by the media merely for pointing out that the virus originated in China.
The World Health Organization also advised countries not to impose border controls in the early weeks of the pandemic so as to avoid the “stigmatization” of Chinese people.
This advice was taken by the British government, with Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s former chief adviser revealing earlier this week that Johnson didn’t want to shut down the border for fear of being labeled “racist.”
Apparently, not being called racist is more important than stopping a deadly pandemic or investigating the origin of where it came from
It’s racist to work for the NY Times.
The first one to bring up race is the racist.
But if it had emerged from Oslo, then it would be okay to say that.
when you’re a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
The left is so brainwashed, critical thinking is lost to the ages.
... and gives aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States.
He needs to download his narrative update.
The NYT is racist.
Assclowns have a way of opening their mouths and exposing themselves.
But somehow it's not racist to blame whites for all the plagues spread during the Little Ice Age in the then continental U.S. as well as everywhere else.
“The first one to bring up race is the racist.”
Yup, projection.
That's racist!
There is new evidence to show that China locked down all domestic traffic internally by end January 2020 but pushed to open foreign travel till end March.
Data from Tom Tom traffic index, a traffic location site that covers 416 cities across 57 countries show that as a result of this strategy, China, intentionally or otherwise, was able to lockdown its cities unknown to the world.
While this reduced the spread of the Corona virus within China, China’s aggressive foreign travel policy lead to a virus explosion worldwide. ...”

Former Vice President Joe Biden now says he supports travel bans to contain the Chinese coronavirus after all – after he previously called the China travel ban issued by President Donald Trump in late January “xenophobia.”
Deputy campaign manager Kate Bedingfield told CNN on April 3 that Biden “supports travel bans that are guided by medical experts, advocated by public health officials and backed by a full strategy,” adding, “Science supported this ban, therefore he did too.”
Was that before or after looking at a poll that said Trump would do a better job dealing with this crisis than Biden?
Asking for the potentially hundreds of thousands of American lives President Trump saved by acting decisively in the early days of this pandemic at a time Biden was hysterically complaining about “reactionary” travel restrictions.
And why wasn’t Biden the first one explaining his new position on this issue? Why tell us now? And why pretend he was in favor of it all along when he never supported it at the time? Why not just admit he was wrong?
Biden not only didn’t support the ban, he explicitly opposed it, repeatedly saying it was unscientific, even though it turns out it ultimately was backed up by the science. Which, you don’t need a medical degree to understand. It’s just common sense.
Travel restrictions are just another form of social distancing from those traveling from the hotspot at the time, which was China, to prevent the American people from coming into contact with others who had been exposed to the virus, just as not going to work if you’re sick might.

“Biden has said China isn’t a threat and has downplayed their ongoing campaigns to undermine the U.S. geopolitically, militarily and economically.
“China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man,” Biden said during an Iowa campaign stop last summer. “I mean, you know, they’re not bad folks, folks. But guess what? They’re not competition for us.” “The fact of the matter is we can do all we need to do without punishing anybody,” he continued.
Biden’s position on China is dangerous and not based in reality. For years the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been sending Chinese students to America’s top doctorate programs in order to gain access to university research labs. There, they steal intellectual property from the highest levels of U.S. science.
Now, we know China’s dangerous handling of viruses in its own labs has led to one of the most devastating and fastest economic destructions in global history.”

Wow . . . really creative, aren’t they? . . . .
Unfortunately the type knee-jerk cries of racism thrown about without merit could cripple the United States. Specifically if there was an armed confrontation with the CCP over Taiwan you can bet your bottom dollar any defense we might offer Taiwan would be met with howls of “racism”. Of course it would be loudest from business who profit from China.
Has anyone else seen this coming? Has anyone considered why Russia, being mostly Caucasian, is acceptable to criticize and threaten but the CCP is not?
Conclusions
1. The PRC has learned to use the language of ‘victimization’ (”RACIST!”) as weapon against the US.
2. US Media is is heavily influenced or out-right owned by the PRC.
It’s clear that they can’t really overuse the highly effective racist accusation. It works. It’s been embedded so effectively in the American psyche that the reaction from most people is automatic. Even when they know it’s a fake accusation, they are unable to oppose it. Its the democrats superpower.
It seems like everyone else is paid off by China but me.
We are getting our “news” from corrupt and ignorant people
