MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, on Tuesday’s “The Last Word,” said that 53% of Republicans failed “a basic mental competency test question,” which is who is the president of the United States” because they think Donald Trump won the 2020 election.
Discussing new Texas election legislation, Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX) said, “It’s very much a naked power grab. Also, if you look at the leadership in Texas, Lawrence, it very much is out of sync with the population of Texas. Texas is an incredibly diverse state, and the Republican leadership in Texas is not. It’s very sad to say, but I think it’s true that it is a lot of Republican White males that are trying to hang on to power. They’re trying to do everything that they can in a diversifying state to do that.”

It’s not that Biden ‘won’ the election by vote count. Most people aren’t disputing that.
Now, we can have a reasonable discussion as to whether the votes were valid or not, but ‘votes is votes’.
Maybe Trump lost, but hiring hundreds of lawyers to stop the recount and any further investigations, tells us, maybe there is something there, which was hidden from view in the so called transparent election. I can’t wait for the Trump Rallies to start up again, the sooner the better. (We know how its going to upset the MSM and ignite the peaceful (s/) protests.} Trump will draw the crowds and point out the failures, and drive the MSM bat $#!t crazy. Politics will be entertaining again. Remember 2020, Trump lied, people died and Epstein committed suicide.

For Leftists the concept of "true" is really just the same as what is consistent with their narrative. And the concept of rationality is really just inventing and rationalizing some way to make their narrative seem plausible.
Thus even though it is not plausible that the midnight miracle spikes of Biden votes that overturned the Trump's victory from hyper partisan Democrat vote counters working unobserved in the middle of the night were legitimate. The goal of the Leftist is to make them seem legitimate anyway possible. To do so is rationality itself for the Leftist.
The only course of action in making this Leftist doctrine plausible is to obfuscate, lie, and gas light, and especially persecute and demonize those that approach the question objectively.
So of course, it becomes their truth that honest people are mentally incompetent. Just as it becomes their truth that color-blind people are horribly racist.
