Months after recovering from mild cases of COVID-19, people still have immune cells in their body pumping out antibodies against the virus that causes COVID-19, according to a study from researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Such cells could persist for a lifetime, churning out antibodies all the while.
The findings, published May 24 in the journal Nature, suggest that mild cases of COVID-19 leave those infected with lasting antibody protection and that repeated bouts of illness are likely to be uncommon.

Of course the natural derived immunities are always the best. Natural tcell immunity from sars cov 1 is 17!yrs and counting.
There really is no need for a covid vaccine, much less an experimental one.
One of the stupidest things I ever heard was when they suggested those who recovered from covid still get the vaccine.
What could your immune system possibly learn from a vaccine that it did not learn from the virus itself!
This isn’t even the first study to confirm this:
It could learn the importance of ensuring drug company profits.
I had the Hong Kong flu thought I was going to die and I was very young at the time!! Took a full month to get back on my feet, I have NEVER had a cold or flu after that in my entire life, NEVER had a flu shot either!! I must say since that flu my immune system has been in overdrive I feel very blessed our immune systems are amazing!!!
The media will spike this story and call those of us who are naturally immune “idiots” and “anti vaxxers” at a higher rate for continuing to refuse the vaccine that science says we don’t need.
“It could learn the importance of ensuring drug company profits.“
Haha, isn’t that the truth!
Our immune systems truly are amazing, on of the greatest gifts God bestowed upon us.
I just wish more people would realize this.
If you value your future, you will not take ANY of the magic vaccines for the Wuhan Virus.
There are much safer, cheaper, and extremely effective alternatives.

Who could have possibly guessed our immune system’s are good at their job, and give you antibodies from fighting off a virus?
It isn’t important what anyone thinks either way. What’s important is that you do what you think is best for your health.
Anyone saying “get vaccinated” should be corrected with “the correct scientific term is ‘immunized’ or ‘inoculated’; please follow the science.”

Pffft.
Anecdotal evidence.
This is why children should be tested for antibodies. These vaccines would likely alter the natural immunity.
Never got the flu shot until the J&J...and only because my son is ill and I didn't want to be denied access.
This is actually the way you typically get “herd immunity”.
The small exposures prepare you for the bigger ones.
Of course, if your first exposure is too big, then you get sick. But most exposures are the small ones.
All the shutdown bs to “flatten the curve” concurrently delays the time to get to herd immunity.
Had a very mild case in December.
Given the media’s bias I’ve been impressed that they aren’t covering the benefit of “natural” immunity.
Of course for some it’s a riskier way of getting immune.
Wish the antibody tests for prior infection were easier to get.
Lots of people thinking any cold/flu they had was covid when it might not have been.
Be nice if one could be sure.
