SARS-CoV-2 is not the first coronavirus to hop from animals to humans — and it will not be the last.
To prevent a future coronavirus pandemic, a group of researchers recently developed a "pan-coronavirus" vaccine, designed to protect against many different strains of coronaviruses known to infect humans and bats. Their vaccine turned out to be very effective in monkeys, but it's not yet known if it will confer the same protection in people, according to the study published May 10 in the journal Nature.
While no one knows what kind of virus will cause the next pandemic, coronaviruses are "definitely a threat," said lead author Kevin Saunders, the director of research at the Duke Human Vaccine Institute in North Carolina. In total, over 200 different viruses from multiple families have been shown to cause symptoms we associate with the common cold. That’s why there’s no vaccine against it and why there’s no universal treatment for it. Any medicine developed would need to work against all - or at least most - of the viruses. That’s a lot of different pathogens to try and cover.
That said, taking out a chunk of them is great news if it can be done. Colds lead to lots of lost school days and work days.
There is no way this can ever work. There has never been any vaccine for a coronavirus, the ones now aren’t vaccines either. The door is opening to more suspect and dangerous drugs on the market.
The hubris of the entire industry is flabbergasting!
They’ve discovered that biology runs on code.
They don’t know the languages, or systems, or subsystems, or hardly any of the nuanced relationships that ultimately find balance in an organism.
But they have zero liability, and billions of test subjects to play with as they work themselves to new heights of power and profit and control.

Oh sure - they're all fine and well, now. Just wait until October when they're all riding horseback!!
True, but I have found with the initial stages of a cold (scratchy weird feeling in throat, etc), Zycam is good at lessening and shortening cold symptoms. May be it's a placebo, but seems to work for me if used soon enough. Once you have all the full blown symptoms, it's useless.
