CNN ended its contract with Rick Santorum after the former Republican senator and two-time presidential candidate made “inaccurate” and “racist” remarks about Native Americans, according to a report.
A senior CNN executive told the Huffington Post Saturday that the network parted ways with Santorum, a political commentator, earlier this week, even as the former Pennsylvania senator tried to explain his comments that “there was nothing” in the US before the arrival of European colonizers on one of the network’s shows earlier this month.

Can’t say I really care. It is not like Santorum represents the views of deplorables. He’s not the worst out there, but he’s in the squishy establish middle trying, but never finding, traction with the Trump side of the party. He doesn’t have any real fight in him - like typical RINOs.
He was against Trump fighting the Election.

I grew up in upstate New York and Native American cultures were described to grade school students. I remember a field trip to a museum in Albany.

He is correct, but correct is racist, now. He specifically said in the US.
The tribes in the US were all about killing, vs. central and south America, where the Climate was more stable and they actually built things.
We had farmers/builders, but the killers or the climate eventually caught up to them.

I would point out that “The Windtalkers” are, in fact, a very major point of Native American culture mixing wiyh the WASP culture Santorum touts.
