Wyoming state Sen. Anthony Bouchard, a Republican who has emerged as one of the most high-profile primary challengers to Rep. Liz Cheney, said in a Facebook Live video Thursday he impregnated a 14-year-old girl when he was 18.
Bouchard said they later got married with the blessing of her mother, and took care of the child. Bouchard and the girl married when he was 19 and she was 15, the Casper Star-Tribune reported. He added that they got divorced about three years later, and she died by suicide at the age of 20.

You could say the same thing about Bill Clinton. So now you support Bill Clinton?
Three years or less. I wouldn't call that some years.
You wouldn't huh?
Pray, what would you call it then?
Chuckle.
Hunter Biden would call this a slow weekend.
Hey, My wife is four years younger than me!Of course she was 30 when we got married, but I did impregnate her, FOUR times.
On that note...like nobody gets pregnant at 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, etc., and has multiple children with multiple men before they reach the age of 18. But it's the white man's fault because so many of them die young from health issues.
It’s Wyoming. I’m sure it’s not the only story like it!
And, there would be a larger, and different pool of voters, one suspects. And, we're talking two elections, the primary and the general.
As an aside, but as a reasonable comparison, do you recall Missouri Sen GOP nom (and totally selfish ignoramus) Todd Akin? He made a nonsensical statement to the effect that women who were raped were not likely to get pregnant.
I knew at the time that this would become the story, and if he did not bail, then the dreadful McCaskill would keep her senate seat. He did not and she did.
Predictable? With certainty,
If this was a Democrat, the baby would have been aborted, the girl paid off, and it never would have been an issue.
I know that.
I am pointing out the differences in age of consent in this country over the years.
There are still plenty of countries where the age of consent is 14 or less
This issue is not going anywhere. I am sure most of his congressional district constituency know all about this already. He’s been standing for elections and winning long before now
My father, born in 1904, married my mother, born in 1920, the day she turned 16. My grandmother adored my father, and gave her permission, knowing he would take good care of her. Their first child was born when my mother was 20 in 1940. She had three other children. I was the last, born in 1947. Today, liberals would be calling my father a rapist.
See link at my next post. There are 8 folks going to challenge her.
They were both kids and chose to NOT have an abortion... one of the most painful stories I've heard in a while. Some 'neverTrumper 'elites' were behind this... people so dead inside they do anything to anyone of any age....
There are a few who get into politics to truly serve their constituents and society but most people get into politics because they are at some level a narcissist. Their egos tend to be off-the-chart.
Lots of good conservatives in Wyoming - don't need this guy.
They chose not to have an abortion - and got married instead. The marriage ended three years later and she got involved in something else that caused the suicide.
These are 2 teenagers who made a mistake and tried to do the right thing - it’s not like Jeffery Epstein raping 11 year old French girls then passing them around to his friends.
Was it something else that caused the suicide or was it something with him? Regardless, find a better candidate without the baggage. Cheney has to go.
