Wyoming state Sen. Anthony Bouchard, a Republican who has emerged as one of the most high-profile primary challengers to Rep. Liz Cheney, said in a Facebook Live video Thursday he impregnated a 14-year-old girl when he was 18.
Bouchard said they later got married with the blessing of her mother, and took care of the child. Bouchard and the girl married when he was 19 and she was 15, the Casper Star-Tribune reported. He added that they got divorced about three years later, and she died by suicide at the age of 20.

If he was a black man running, a lot of people would bring it up.
I don’t know enough about the situation but it needs to be vetted very well.
Roy Moore cost the people of Alabama a senate seat. We don’t need to lose this seat to Cheney again.

Liz Cheney is going to cruise to re-election if this is the best opposition we can come up with in the primary...and the fact he’s going to remain on the ballot will just split the vote even if a more credible candidate files.

This was a HS Senior dating a 9th grader. They had sex. Whoops she got pregnant.
That is wrong, I am NOT approving it. But that is not the kind of mistake that prohibits you from being a productive member of society for the rest of your life. He made a big mistake as a teenager.
In this case, he tried to do what he thought was the right thing and married the girl. It didn’t last. Nothing indicates he had anything to do with her suicide.
The media sets up a red herring that any Republican must be cleaner than Jesus Christ. When you find out they are not, their sin is so egregious (no matter what it is) that they are not worthy to breathe air, much less hold public office.
A Democrat can do pretty much anything they want, but there is no condemnation nor even questioning by the media.
The hypocrisy is staggering.
Mistakes happen, but according to my research it is considered rape and a felony. You and I know damn well the Democrats and media are going to destroy this guy. He can do something else besides running for my Congress.
Me, too-and Bill Clinton’s womanizing took place when he was already well over 18/21-and he was already in a position of power and influence, politically-so no comparison with an 18 year old and a 14 year old doing what kids that age do-however unwise-at that age I thought I was 10 ft tall and bulletproof, too-at 16 I ran off with the 19 year old college student I’d been dating for about a year, we moved in together-didn’t last long, I went on to have my cub, started college, etc-married my 1st hubby, we raised the cub, happy for 20 years etc...
I’m very surprised to see I’m among so many angelic, morally upright and perfect people on this thread-surely they must be canonized for never ever being young and stupid like the rest of us imperfect people-my dad said if you never make mistakes you never learn anything...
The whole story about Bouchard is even less salacious than all the Kavanaugh hearing circus...

I’m sure most didn’t knock up a child as an adult male. Can we have some boundaries at least.
