Wisconsin senators approved a bill earlier this week allowing dead bodies to be dissolved in a chemical bath and disposed like sewage.
The bill, Senate Bill 228, authorizes a practice called alkaline hydrolysis, or “water cremation,” which liquifies the human body using a mixture of water, heat, and chemical agents, leaving only bones behind. The liquid is then dumped into the sewage system or boiled off, and bones can be crushed and deposited in an urn.
The Republican-led Senate passed the legislation without debate on Tuesday over the objection of the Catholic bishops of Wisconsin.
A tacit, if not explicit denial that we are created in the image of God to be raised up bodily at the Day of Judgment. “Better to be mixed with sewage and made into nothing than to be in the presence of the Creator.”
...or in your crops. "Say...did anyone else pick up on that 'aftertaste' in their broccoli tonight?"
You are correct. There are vast, wide open spaces in our country with no one living there. Problem is, you get enough bored billionaires like Bill Gates or Ted Turner, who keep gobbling up what is there, that reduces the open space.
Oh, and BLM (Bureau of Land Management) who control at least 12% of all open space in this country.
So this is where we are now with the value of human life. Abortions and sewer sludge. Genocide will be so much easier to manage now. It’s just taking out the trash.
Hell, just sell human disposal units at Walmart and we can all take out the trash ourselves.
Now we can all bathe in the Ganges!
Actually, no; with all the landfill space we're saving by banning plastic bags and straws, we'll have plenty of room for cemeteries.
Hahahahahah
LOL, I have a degree in Chemistry, and I recall wincing as I watched that scene unfold, since I divined where it was going, IIRC.
So, how do you propose that we dispose of unclaimed human remains? A big mass grave? Cremation? This is essentially the same thing, the tissues are dissolved and any virus, or disease is destroyed as well - so the remains are sterile - the same as cremation.
Bones are left, unlike cremation - but this uses less energy and is more cost efficient. With millions in cities, and many unclaimed dead - this is becoming a larger and larger problem, it’s not going away.
Me? Don’t really care. What is me will be with God, and when I am resurrected, my body will be remade. Those who died before me, lost at sea, burned or otherwise had their remains destroyed; they will not be “out of luck”. Our bodies are merely vessels for our time on earth. What happens to our bodies, doesn’t matter. What we do while we are alive, that is all that matters.
It’s truly sickening.
Turning human bodies into alkalia sludge to pollute our lakes and rivers is stupid public policy. Alkaline hydrolysis is not only is detrimental to the environment and our wildlife, it fails completely in its carbon-phobic intent. These leftists who oppose carbon emissions want to avoid contributing the carbon in their bodies into the atmosphere through cremation or decomposition. These liberal whack-jobs don’t understand that the production of a sufficient amount of potassium hydroxide to dissolve their body takes many times more energy to produce (i.e. carbon emissions) than their bodies contain. Add in the pumping and chemical cleanup and there may not be a less “carbon neutral” way to dispose of their body than launching it into orbit. If they really want to annihilate their bodies and spread their corpses over a lake or river, they can be cremated and have their far less toxic ashes spread where they choose.
Dupont needs to add dead bodies into their chemical dumps - then they’d be legal... /s
Wisconsin politicians think Lake Michigan is the Ganges in India with dead bodies floating everywhere? Our drinkable water recycled from the Lake is now going to have human DNA in it. I’m getting sick just thinking about it.
I think they passed a similar law in Washington State
—
Not similar - our water comes from the Lake and is recycled - we have to drink the dead bodies ... wretch puke vomit
We don’t swim in your casket. Please don’t pour grampa in our pool.
***I don’t think it was bodies. It was human waste and it did go on. My uncle and cousin worked there. They sprayed it on the forests near North Bend, I think

It was (is) Human Composting...
I see a whole NEW filtration system to sell to every homeowner....
“I will be pretty much done with the body.”
__________
Do you not believe in the Resurrection of the Body?
The spiritual body, yes. The physical body is discarded and left behind.
“Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.”
