Top Mueller Henchman Lays Out New Scheme To Prevent Trump 2024 White House Run
Former President Donald J. Trump may have been run out of the swamp, but the witch hunt goes on with his enemies fully mobilized to prevent his return.
While Trump continues to mull a 2024 White House run, efforts are underway to use every dirty trick in the book to take him out with extreme prejudice. Now, a familiar cast of characters have emerged as conspirators.
One of them is Andrew Weissman, the vicious former prosecutor who was fondly referred to as “Mueller’s pit bull” for his role on Robert Mueller’s sweeping investigation into the Russian collusion hoax.
Weissman, who resigned in 2019, soon got a job on cable television like many other Obama-Clinton loyalists. He now draws a paycheck from MSNBC where he works as a legal analyst and he has laid out the latest evil scheme to prevent another Trump presidency.
The ex-prosecutor joined Nicole Wallace to discuss the likelihood that Trump would be indicted in a purely political move by Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr., a Democrat with higher political aspirations.
Weissman fantasized about the possibility that Trump could end up being effectively “imprisoned” in Florida if Republican Governor Ron DeSantis chooses to fight attempts to extradite him to New York.
Watch:
...
Wallace set the table; “so of course my brain went to a cartoon-like image of DeSantis smuggling blond-headed Donald Trump out of Mar-a-Lago but what does this mean practically speaking?”
Weissman replied; “Well it actually could get quite complicated Nicole, because there is a Florida statute, many states have similar ones that impose a duty on the governor to extradite,” he said, “however, that statute doesn’t require the governor to extradite and it also doesn’t provide that the governor has the ability to investigate the extradition papers, which is a long way to say that if DeSantis wants to and Trump wants to delay this, there might be ways to do that.”
...
Weissman added, “If he went overseas, if he went to any other state, he would be subject to those laws, and so he would really have to stay in Florida. It certainly would be quite an interesting issue if he were to, for instance — this is way down the road — but if he were to try and run again for president, he would not be inhabiting the White House in that situation because there would be papers seeking his extradition to New York.”
By trapping Trump in Florida, Weissman suggests that he would be ineligible for the presidency, a truly diabolical abuse of the law for political means but that is his specialty.
The ongoing investigation by Vance has intensified as Trump continues to insist that the 2020 election was rigged, and the Bush-McCain-Romney GOP establishment is working frantically to oust him from the party.
Indicting a former president in a purely political move would be unprecedented. If it does happen and DeSantis doesn’t comply with any extradition demands from New York, Joe Biden would liekly weaponize the Justice Department to take out his political opposition.
This is purely banana republic territory but Democrats long ago abandoned everything with the exception of the pursuit of power by any means necessary.
Which state do you think will go apesh*t first?
Trump will most certainly be indicted by Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. As the two corrupt impeachment attempts show, his enemies are not fazed by lack of evidence. They are only concerned with accusations. Then they will leave it up to the MSM to continue with relentless repetition of the lies.
I hope Trump is making plans for this sure eventuality.
I think most Conservatives have had enough of these treasonous bastards.
“Al Gore coined it with the term “risky scheme” during the 2000 campaign against George W. Bush.”
That was his term for the privatization of SSI. While we got angry over the word scheme the real key word was ‘risky’. Why? His quote was aimed at women-they don’t take risks. Very smart of him. Caught us asleep at the switch. Same as ‘soccer moms’(B.J.) and “no Russian missiles are aimed at America’s children”. Debate talking points. They’re better at it than we are.
Exception to the rule: the U S. of A.
"Fantasized" is the right word here. This guy is a jackass who would be unemployable in any line of work except one as marginal as the legal profession.
President Trump is going to be spending the entire summer at his golf club in New Jersey. Does that sound like someone who intends to be "imprisoned in Florida," fighting an extradition case in New York? LOL.
I would also ask this dope what financial crimes Donald Trump could have committed in New York if WEISSMAN HIMSELF couldn't find any crimes he committed under Federal law?
In a JUST country, Weissman would be in a PRISON CELL!
MULEFACE ACTED like he had dementia!
The president can’t have rallies soon enough to suit me.
I hope he has them every week.
Also, President Trump plans his own social media web site by July 4th. I’m looking forward to it!
P.S.: I hope your relatives are safe in the State of Israel.
If they want to finally bring civil war, try to imprison Trump.
They are doing alright..I talked to my cousin two days ago she is fine..they sleep in the bunker at night that way if the sirens go off they dont have to run in the dark to the bunker..they will do that til this is all over..and the IDF God Bless them, keep pounding away, NO cease fire til Hamas is GONE
A large push for these stories is to try to get Republicans to abandon Trump.
“I think most Conservatives have had enough of these treasonous bastards.”
Your killing me Smalls.
The more they try to stop him the more certain it is that he will run. (and win)
The more they try to stop him the more certain it is that he will run. (and win)
Why worry? A little lead will sort them out over night.
I don’t think Trump is too worried. He is not even living in Florida now. He is planning to spend the summer at his Bedminster New Jersey club.
Weissman is one of the most unethical people around
His view of the law is that the law is a collection of rules to bend, twist, and when necessary, ignore to persecute his political enemies. Andrei Vyshinsky comes to mind.
