More than 100 Republicans, including some former elected officials, are preparing to release a letter this week threatening to form a third party if the Republican Party does not make certain changes, according to an organizer of the effort.

“100 Republicans”... not 100 sitting GOP Congresspersons... just 100 folks who claim to be a part of the GOP.
"Despots" is what they call the folks who want Limited Government and less spending and less hyper-regulation... while using the language of the Left, "act collectively"... the Left apparently being the non-despotic folks who somehow want vastly increasing amounts of money and control and power in DC.
Yeah, those 100 folks sure do have their stuff together.
I think they’re under the illusion that blue collar Dims, and conservative blacks, Asians and Latins would vote for them if they just weren’t called Republicans.

I’d love for them to leave, but it’d be better if they lost in their primaries. The truth is that we’d still be in a place where we’d be asking them to caucus with us. They’d have a certain amount of power if they could do this and keep enough seats. I am sure that they would not ever be enough to compete nationwide with the GOP.
