Disney ain’t Disney no more. So, I will “decolonize” my bookshelf, when they “deMarxize” their entire staff and company. Screw Mickey Marx.
“Disney is slammed for ‘woke’ anti-racism training that tells white staff to ‘decolonize their bookshelves,’ participate in reparations and complete a ‘privilege checklist’”
WHAT! Not telling them they should get down on their knees, confess to being born white and slash their wrists to atone for their parent’s white DNA. I thought Disney was getting ‘woke’.
Companies going insane to appease people that were never and will never be their customers
Oh Mulan and Lion King, you are but Fascist Shadows of your former selves.
Boycott.
Its a good word.
Dizzyknee.
The propaglandular designate and the new propagland of Liberal Fascists and their toady liberal fascist broadcast shitworks.
We’ll just watch
>>Newly revealed Disney’s training documents show the company asked their white staff to ‘decolonize their bookshelves,’
Where would Disney be without the Brothers Grimm, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and other works of Western literature?
One more company I can’t boycott. I don’t knowingly buy Disney stuff.
“Decolonize your bookshelves” = “burn any books we deem dangerous and inappropriate”. I won’t do it.
Disney and it’s affiliates will not be on my grandchildren’s list of entertainment.
It sows discord and distrust between employees for absolutely no value added. Which is the intent.
time for me to hit the library and university auctions again.... problem is I’ve not only run out of bookshelf space, but rooms to put them in....

Just try touching my bookcase.
It’s time to rewatch the old Disney Classic “Song of the South”.
Critical Racist Theory is rabid, anti-white racism/genocide.
Censoring books?
That’s a beatin’.
The mangling of word meanings, syntax and grammar really grate on British ears. It is evident that that author never read a book or he wouldn't write a directive like that. It's utterly meaningless. And the perhaps intended meaning is wrong. European and American writers don't occupy an unwelcome colony on my bookcase. They inform the culture that I grew up with and provide meaning and inspiration. And many of those authors write history or explain scientific discoveries. Anyone else is welcome to write stuff like that, not just those of European descent or influence. And if it is well-written and not filled with the tedious cant that fills the volumes of leftist American academia I would willingly read such stuff and add it to my book shelf.
Of course the problem is that if you can write well enough in any language that someone wants to read you, you are probably racist. In fact you probably read Shakespeare [who is universally read] and that will make you a lackey of white racist imperialists trying to colonize the minds of the other races in the world.
This should be written "...as part of their "anti-racism" training.", correctly implying that it is not, in fact, anti-racism training.
