BREAKING: Clarkstown Police Department are currently at the Palisades Mall investigating a woman who tragically fell to her death.
The woman fell from the 4th level to the basement in the area of the parking deck & Dick’s Sporting Goods. The incident occurred on Thursday (May 6) around 12:30pm. Law enforcement sources confirm to us the woman was pronounced deceased on scene.
The mall is still currently open.
This is a developing story and will be updated with more information.
How close to the side of the building was she when found?
Suicide that leaves a mess for other people to clean up is so selfish.
That's true of airports too. Which is why those are full of security checkpoints and armed guards now.

She was found wearing 6 masks and it is believed she became dizzy from lack of oxygen leading to her fall.
I agree with you. I have heard some suicides are done in an effort to ‘punish’ the surviving family or specific people with the eternal weight of guilt.
Somewhat similar to a citizen ‘getting even’ with a tax debt by pushing a wheelbarrow full of pennies to the Teller’s Window. The IRS bureau won’t be the one counting all those pennies, the poor Teller on shift will be the one summarily punished with the tedium instead.

This is about 20 miles up the river from Palisades Amusement Park, the latter of which was replaced by condos 50 years ago.
