Suicide that leaves a mess for other people to clean up is so selfish.
I agree with you. I have heard some suicides are done in an effort to ‘punish’ the surviving family or specific people with the eternal weight of guilt.
Somewhat similar to a citizen ‘getting even’ with a tax debt by pushing a wheelbarrow full of pennies to the Teller’s Window. The IRS bureau won’t be the one counting all those pennies, the poor Teller on shift will be the one summarily punished with the tedium instead.
