Meghan McCain told her co-hosts on Thursday’s broadcast of ABC’s “The View” that the Biden administration’s messaging on wearing masks and the coronavirus vaccine was “psychotic.”
McCain said, “Honestly, when we were first talking about vaccine hesitancy on this show, a lot of it centered around minority populations who were hesitant because of the Tuskegee experiment. The narrative and feeling coming out was compassion and trying to convince people in a way of empathy that we all are in this together. We should get vaccinated together. It was effective. The message to Republicans is, you dumb hillbillies stay away from me. It’s not going to convince anyone of anything. I have tried, and I had an idea for an ad campaign that specifically targeted towards Republicans and evangelicals that I proposed that has gone on deaf ears.”

The Spew is the worst thing on television.
It Takes One To Know One!
But on the bright side, he doesn't tweet mean things...
Never watched those View cud chewers. That woman is a hostile shrew when I’ve heard her talk.So she got one right, hallelujah.
Covid was Bidens Reichstag fire: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reichstag_fire
Let me ask you one simple question that should tell all: had elections been 3 November 2019, how do you think they would have gone?
Covid is real, just like many other issues. The problem is that these issues and the solutions, actions taken, etc. are more more about politics than anything else. Somewhere buried under the government Fauci bullshit really is a disease, it really did kill a lot of folks, but aside from the vaccine where the government did a great job, ALMOST NOTHING the government did actually accomplished anything, and in some cases it did more harm than good (see Cuomo and the old folks homes), but in almost all cases people had their rights violated so that some buffoon in government can show the masses he did something. You had folks in government stumbling over each other, both politicians and bureaucrats, inventing ever more stupid ideas so that they can get their 15 Warhol minutes.
What did closing the schools accomplish? What did closing all the restaurants accomplish? What did closing public beaches accomplish? What did closing public swimming pools accomplish (especially outdoor)? Actions for the sake of taking actions. But always someone in government behind a microphone telling us to subjugate ourselves to ever greater stupidity in the name of "science" and to protect each other from a virus which we could at best slow the spread of a little bit at a huge economic cost.
Covid was the tool which got Biden elected.
Every time Joe Biden or Anthony Fauci shows up on national TV they look like a morons with diapers on their faces — even AFTER they've supposedly been vaccinated. Anyone who looks at this objectively is going to conclude that one of the following must be true:
1. They were never vaccinated, which means they have no credibility when they tell everyone else to get a vaccine.
2. The vaccine is completely ineffective.
With this in mind, why would anyone bother getting a vaccine?
Every now and then a stamped hoof cracks an acorn.
The diaper analogy is appropriate to what is spewing out of their mouths. As far as masks and vaccines are concerned, I think the sensible approach should be: (1) if you are worried about getting Covid, get a vaccine and then mind your own business; (2) if you worried about getting Covid and for some medical reason cannot get a vaccine, then take reasonable precautions to protect yourself with face masks and quarantine measures; (3) if you don’t want to wear a mask or be vaccinated, mind your own business and be gracious to reasonable requests to protect vulnerable citizens. Of course, this presumes people are being guided by science instead of politics so it won’t be utilized.
My daughter’s church congregation began meeting in person again yesterday. The leadership decided to not enforce the mask guidance and let the parishioners decide for themselves. In the church all the leaders and eighty percent of the congregation eschewed face masks. Twenty percent wore the masks and since this is a largely-superannuated congregation, that made sense. The meetings were peaceful and welcoming to all.
I recall that when she was a regular on Fox’s “Outnumbered”, she was pretty good, and made mincemeat of people like Marie Harf, Jessica Tarlov, and other libs. And she didn’t hold back. On The View, she’s basically one of them.
She’s right about this subject, though, and may have jeopardized her thieving druggie mother’s chances at an ambassadorship to UK.
.....”I think we should try and lead people along instead of saying they’re dumb morons” .....
Hey, No Name’s kid - we don’t need to “be led” anywhere, and the likes of YOU are not anyone to be doing any leading of anyone anywhere.
Some of us - a LOT of us - have decided to not be lab rats and we’re praying for the ones that are, but drop it. Short of military action we aren’t going along with Fauci the Criminal and Gates the Dicktator.
Mind your own business and we’ll see how this plays out.
Maybe it’s a good thing the messaging is so bad.
Your mother helped put him there, Meghan.
“The Spew is the worst thing on television.”
Truth
Boobs McCain still thinks she can get into politics.
She is just practicing playing both sides of the fence.
Migraine McCain strikes again.....
I haven’t had a TV for 12 years now. Never saw her on Fox. She surely has regressed.
Too late b-itch.
I'm not getting the vaccine BECAUSE the government is promoting this experiment a little too much for my comfort. They are insisting and coercing.
The vaccines are as worthless as masks to prevent the transmission of the virus anyway, according to the WHO. So what's the point?
Wanting to get a new vaccine that continues to produce unknown sides effects but doesn't have much benefit in stopping the viral disease for which there is a 99.8% survivability rate already, is just another example of the mass hysteria by a public.
If the government insists I get the vaccine, I will balk. Their pushy campaign to vaccinate everyone is having the opposite impact from what they want.
But when the rest of us say that, she accuses us of being political. EAD Meghan.
