COVID lockdowns cost countless jobs, don’t appear to have saved lives: study

We’ve locked down the economy instead of the virus.

Jobs are recovering slower in New York and other states holding on to stringent COVID-19 restrictions than in states that fully reopened their economies, even though continued lockdown measures don’t appear to be saving lives,

...

Measures like limiting travel, keeping restaurants operating below capacity and leaving non-essential businesses closed have kept unemployment in New York State among the highest in the nation, while states with fewer restrictions are seeing jobs bounce back faster from the pandemic-induced recession, the study shows.

Tragically, the data also suggests lockdowns didn’t do much to help save lives throughout the pandemic, while it’s clear that they sent millions to the unemployment line.

...

By March 8, 2021, for example, New Jersey had recorded 2,656 deaths per 1 million residents, while New York had 2,500 per 1 million residents, according to the Covid Tracking Project. South Dakota had 2,149 deaths per 1 million residents, but loose-rules Utah had just 617.

...

states that imposed severe lockdowns were also the ones that saw the greatest exodus of residents in 2020, according to an annual study from United Van Lines. States that moved quickest to reduce or eliminate lockdowns are also among the top destinations for movers.

The study on state migration found the top states to move away from were New Jersey, New York, Illinois, Connecticut and California, all high-restriction states.

They blamed Trump for the bad economy under Covid when they did it to themselves.

Now, as things finally go back to normal, watch them hail Joe Biden for lowering unemployment.

Joe will be like, “What? Where’s my pudding cup and the nurse with the nice smelling hair?”

The desired effect.

Small businesses go out of business or get burned down while huge corporations flourish.

Employees now reliant on gov money.

A scared and/or depressed society.

Many deaths from hospitals not taking anything but possible COVID cases and they just call them all covid for the money.

Little socialization.

Churches close.

Kids get dumber.

Suicide rates soar.

Homicide rates rise 50-150% in the inner cities.

US debt increases by trillions when we can’t pay the debt already.

Emissions cut due to lack of travel.

Couple more viruses or ‘deadly variants” and the USA will collapse.

A communist’s wet dream.

the cdc that recommends lockdowns, masks, and vaccines for our citizens to combat a “deadly virus” is the same cdc that’s part of our government that opened the border, invited, and continues to distribute thousands of “disease carrying invaders” across our country during a “global pandemic”...

But it empowered the government and proved the sheeple will give up their God given freedoms at the first sign of trouble.

In February 2020 specific, detailed advice should have been given to the truly vulnerable (over 75...diabetes...lung disease, etc) and very specific, and detailed, measures should have been put in place to protect nursing home residents (hear that,Governor Nipple Ring?).

No lock downs (perhaps other than nursing homes),no closing offices, restaurants, shopping malls, government buildings.

But,of course, the aim all along was to drive Trump out of office so Rat Party Governors (and Trump hating RINO Governors...Massachusetts,Maryland,etc) knew that bringing the economy to its knees was the only way.
