The Biden administration is moving to address global warming by setting a new, economy-wide greenhouse gas emissions reduction target of 50% to 52% below 2005 levels by 2030.
Why it matters: The new, non-binding target is about twice as ambitious as the previous U.S. target of a 26% to 28% cut by 2025, which was set during the Obama administration. White House officials described the goal as ambitious but achievable during a call with reporters Tuesday night.

The "problem" DOES exist: the Earth's climate is changing, as it does cyclically over very long periods of time. We are heading into a grand solar minimum which will cause a 1C drop in global temperatures.
The problem is that NONE of it is caused by or impacted by humanity. Anthropogenic global climate change is a load of malarkey, and we should be worrying about the famine we're going to face when crops consistently fail.

Unless you disconnect from the grid you are just taking money from your neighbors. Here in Vriginai we have net metering. Instead of them buy the reliable wholesale power for 4 cents, they are forced to buy your unreliable power for 12 cents. In theory your power has lower distribution cost, but that's a penny at most and the reality is that solar often saves zero on distribution.
