The Supreme Court's failures are putting America on a path to tyranny
American Thinker ^ | 04/21/2021 | Clifford C. Nichols

Rarely do the generation experiencing the actual events and decisions that lead to their nation's demise fully appreciate the enormity of their oversight until sometime after their culture's destruction has been rendered incurable. Largely, it is not due so much to their negligence as it is to most of them being too preoccupied with simply living and making a living.

Perhaps that would explain why, in just the first four months of 2021, the Supreme Court issued four decisions — or, perhaps better viewed as non-decisions — that should have caused all legitimately patriotic Americans to be alarmed and called to action...but did not seem to.

Only a few weeks ago, without offering any substantive explanation, the Court summarily refused to even look at — much less seriously consider — any of the evidence of the 2020 election irregularities offered by attorney Sidney Powell and others. Evidently, the Supreme Court of the United States of America was not interested in doing what it could — and should — to let America know decisively whether or not its presidential election had been shamelessly stolen by those now in power.

Why would they not do this?

Perhaps the answer is best revealed by the fact that, at the same time, the Court was also apparently too busy to halt a New York prosecutor from obtaining former president Trump's tax returns. The practical effect was for SCOTUS to give that prosecutor an assist with his unconstitutional effort to search for any crime that might make President Trump's ouster from office permanent.

Clearly, these two SCOTUS decisions alone evidence the fact that the agenda of the justices has become politically driven.

It doesn't end there.

We now live in a color coded anti-white male feminized society that has been rubber stamped by the Supreme Disappointment. A Constitution not followed is worse than no Constitution at all. This state of affairs breeds contempt for the government in the intelligent, and a sentimental belief in the phony protections it was supposed to have in the weak minded. As such, the Constitution now provides a fig leaf for the naked aggression of the socialist statist agenda.

“halt a New York prosecutor from obtaining former president Trump’s tax returns”

There is no excuse for the Supreme Court not stopping this politically motivated trampling of a person’s Amendment IV rights and the assault on the Amendment XV rights of ‘white’ voters.

Great piece.

“All of us — both conservatives and liberals — would do well to take off our government-mandated masks long enough to read out loud and seriously reflect upon the following words of a woman — Ayn Rand — who knew more than just a little about how to identify a tyranny:

When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing — When you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors — When you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you — When you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice — You may know that your society is doomed.

We’re left to ask: does America still have the option of reversing course, or, in its march toward some form of tyranny, has it already put the Rubicon in its rearview mirror?

After all, how is a nation supposed to lawfully remedy the corrupt silence of a politicized Supreme Court from which there is no readily apparent peaceful means for appeal? “

No. No reversing. Only a new way forward. The energy spent fighting or obsessing about what the left is doing, is wasting energy that can be spent establishing a new society.

“Obama is not a natural born citizen.”

Kamala Harris should have been challenged over the natural-born issue by Mike Pence, but I suspect Mike Pence is looking for a multi-million dollar position outside of government.

A leftist organization had better pay up before Mike Pence’s spine stiffens.

Amy Phony Barrett was the worst choice Trump made for USSC.

Yeah, she was just bought off this week. Two Million dollar book deal.

Yes. Every one of them is almost irretrievably corrupt.

“When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - When you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - When you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you - When you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - You may know that your society is doomed.” -Ayn Rand.

Spot on.

Yes.

The Supreme Court "justices" have failed. They have failed America. They have failed the people of the world. They have failed future generations. They have failed themselves. They have failed the integrity that they so extravagantly proclaim. They have failed Almighty God.

We need a Second Republic of the United States.

I don’t think it will involve 50 states. It will be smaller, with a different Constitution.
And I don’t care how we get there. I say we roll the dice and take our chances. The present situation is completely untenable.

IDK what it looks like either, going forward, and I don’t think it can go by states now, as they exist, but we’ll see. Could be quite exciting actually, with the right attitude.

It would be an interesting (though politically somewhat treasonous?) exercise to work on a new structure.

One general thought I have had is to combine States with City-States. Let Philadelphia have one sort of representation, and the state of Pennsylvania have another, more powerful, form of representation. I’m really tired of state votes just coming down to corruption in the big cities. We need to balance that.

It should be called the Swamp Court instead of the Supreme Court.

You are correct. And the Court and its decisions will no longer be respected by the People with the resulting chaos that will follow in the country. The Court is following the slippery slope followed by the DOJ and FBI which no longer have the respect of the People and are seen as totally political, corrupt from top to bottom and being used to pursue ones political enemies. The result of all of this will be a once great country torn apart again by a civil war.

As we move ever closer to accepting the reality of an urgent need for self-preservation, we are going to see some new polities arise in response to the new “conditions” that are threatening to destroy civilized society, our culture and our way of life.

Don’t forget that it was the Democrats who introduced and unilaterally justified the sanctuary concept that effectively established autonomous regions within this country. THEY set the precedent for this.

Some of the weaknesses and problematic aspects of our governing framework have been exposed. Lessons learned to be applied down the road from here.
