This is what happened with the Michael Brown/Darren Wilson case.
One day last summer, the county prosecutor who ran on putting Darren Wilson behind bars announced that he would not be charging Wilson with anything. Barely a mention and almost quiet.
“Don’t be an idiot.”
Good sentiment but way too late for that person.
There was wo way he could have ever gotten a fair jury trial in Minneapolis.
The worst part is the verdict will be used to help solidify the martyrdom of the “victim”. And the Left will now demand that April 20th be celebrated as some sort of “victory” day annually. Mythmaking at its most.
Not surprised at the verdict. The threat of a full-scale riot in multiple cities probably scared the jurors straight even if they were sequestered.

Not at all. The handcuffed prisoner was unconscious for many minutes. Chauvin worked him over a little too hard and he died. Play stupid games, wins stupid prizes.
So OJ was acquitted for being black. Chauvin was convicted for being White.
The jury would have found him guilty on ten charges, if they had been brought.

Chauvin, who was charged with second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter has been found guilty on all three counts.
