Household supplies from detergent to diapers are poised to slap consumers with sticker shock this fall, even as the US slowly emerges from the pandemic.

Yep. I loved the smell of line drying sheets back in the day!
Everyone get a puny stimulus check, then the price of everything skyrockets. lol...
XiJinBiden’s gonna need a raise to pay for all his Depends, if the price goes through the roof.
Of course, given how FoS XiJinBiden is, it is possible he doesn’t use many Depends.
We did cloth diapers with our four kids. My wife tallied the savings once, it was in the five figures.
Gas here in Rome, New York is almost $3.00 a gallon. Hasn’t been that high in eons. Fortunately, the majority of the driving I do is to my doctor appointments, and to the grocery store once a week.
As a single man I used to be able to eat well on $100 per month. Plus $50 for beer:)
That was 25 years ago.
Now it’s $600 combined.
$150 per week, headed to $250.
Just for good food and a few beers.
I’m sure glad I’m not commuting 50 miles per day anymore. Gas is crazy too.
Been there, done that.
“I doubt that they even sell cloth diapers any more. I had to wash mine.”
I suppose you mean your childrens’ diapers.
Let’s not completely forget that disposable diapers become lots of garbage.
What you CAN expect to happen, will be that it will be determined that the “poor” people cannot afford diapers any longer, so some program will be set up for US TO PAY FOR THEM for the “poor” people, going forward.
Laundry detergent, like everything else, has already climbed in the last several months!
Paper diapers were pretty awful, in the beginning. My mother, who’s gone on to be with the Lord, paid for diaper service for my third baby. What a blessing THAT was!
Green Karen mommies have been washing cloth diapers right along. Right?
Future Inner Party folk will be easily able to afford day maids.
My mom had 2 babies in diapers in 1961. I was still very young but I would try to help her hang diapers on the clothes line. I still remember the day we got a clothes dryer. She was absolutely ecstatic, you would have thought she won the lotto!

Time for a couple more storage racks in the basement.
Bidens Gas prices rise......consumer products will always rise too.
Cloth diapers are banned in places.
And diaper rash is a call to CPS.
We wanted to use cloth diapers, but found that they were considered borderline child abuse.
Biden better stock up. Fill a room in the basement with extra diappees

Cloth diapers are still made
Some green moms use them. Not the Karen type but the young homesteader types.
I have been saying, I hope gas prices skyrocket also
I can afford it but people need to pay for their stupidity.
Of course, inflation and the $15 minimum wage have nothing to do with this.
