‘Beautiful Things: A Memoir’ didn’t crack the top 10 hardcover nonfiction books
Hunter Biden’s new memoir sold less than 11,000 copies in its first week despite heavy promotion from CNN, CBS News and ABC’s "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"
"Beautiful Things: A Memoir" sold 10,638 copies last week, according to Publishers Weekly. The book finished behind 11 other hardcover nonfiction books. Amanda Gorman’s "The Hill We Climb: An Inaugural Poem for the Country," sold 42,318 copies to finish atop the list.
Fox News host Shannon Bream’s new book, "The Women of the Bible Speak: The Wisdom of 16 Women and Their Lessons for Today," sold 32,686 copies during the same timeframe to finish second

Trying to think of who would buy this book. Conservatives already know all about Hunter, far more than is covered in the book. Inner Party leftists already know about Hunter and don’t care about his behavior. Outer Party leftists have him compartmentalized as a victim of right wing smears and therefore don’t want to risk having their bubble burst even by the book’s highly filtered, limited-hangout type revelations, so they’ll mostly avoid it. The rest of America barely knows he exists thanks to the media blackout. It’s just hard to picture who would shell out the cash for this book.
Wonder how much of our tax money is going toward sales and royalties..

This whole “book deal” was a fig leaf to hide the corrupt payoff to the Bidens.
The book could be put to use. A person could use a razor blade and cut a hole through the inside pages and create a hollowed out book. Hollowed out books are a great place to hide your cocaine stash. Nobody would ever find it because nobody would ever open that book.
The original book title was “How I Snorted My Way Into Millions of Foreign Dollars, My Dead Brother’s Widow and All-Nighters With Strippers and Hookers”
One of the ways thugs do graft is by buying the books of our ‘public servants’ and their silly offspring. Last I heard - which was a long time ago - for an extra fee publishers would agree NOT to print the large lots... like if someone ‘bought’ 40,000 copies. That way the embarrassment (and possible tell-tail tip-off) of seeing thousands of books dumped on the secondary wouldn’t happen... So I’m assuming the word is out that buying this book is NOT an ‘in’ with daddy.
Very few people wish to learn more about Hunter Biden’s private life and/or inner thoughts.
Most of us are trying to block out and forget what we do know about him.
If I wanted to become a crack-head, I’d consult hunter. Other than that, I really don’t give a crap what he has to say(lie about).

11 k? What an effing joke. I wrote several technical books in the early 90’s that did better than that. Stupid me, I didn’t get a $3m advance.
It’s hard to sell a lot of books when they are wrote in crayon.
