* A number of states have introduced legislation that would ban transgender surgeries and procedures for minors.
* Arkansas became the first state to ban transgender procedures for minors when the Arkansas legislature over rode Republican Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s veto of the “Save Adolescents From Experimentation Act.”
* Many other states are also attempting to ban the procedures.
At least 16 states have taken action to ban doctors from performing transgender surgeries and procedures on minors.
Arkansas became the first state to ban the surgeries and procedures for minors when the legislature over rode Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s veto of the “Save Adolescents From Experimentation Act.”
Polling conducted by the conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation found that 57% of Americans oppose allowing minors with gender dysphoria to receive gender transition surgery, puberty blockers or cross-sex hormones.
Alabama
Under Alabama’s Vulnerable Child Compassion and Protection Act, doctors would be prohibited from treating Alabama minors with hormone therapy, surgery, or puberty blockers “intended to alter the minor child’s gender or delay puberty.” The bill would also require schools to let parents know if their child has the “perception that his or her gender is inconsistent with his or her sex” and establish criminal penalties for violations.
Arkansas
Arkansas’ “Save Adolescents From Experimentation Act,” otherwise known as the SAFE Act, prohibits physicians from performing gender transition procedures, such as puberty blockers or “top” and “bottom” surgeries, on minors.
Florida

Georgia
Lawmakers in Georgia introduced the Vulnerable Child Protection Act in February, legislation which also requires penalties for health care professionals who perform transgender surgeries or procedures on minors.

I don’t know what people with gender dysphoria go through. But I hate to think that people not completely through puberty are being treated with surgery and/or hormones to alter their development.
To me, it’s a big difference between a minor getting treatment, and an adult exploring options related to this.
I would point out that gender dysphoria is officially considered a mental condition by the mental health community, but to mention that might be perceived as “transphobic” by the liberals.

In a sane world they would be banned, period, and genderism treated as a mental illness.
In fact they should ban any sort of hormone treatment as well.
While your body is trying to find its balance you should keep medical and chemical interference to the minimum.

These people need spiritual guidance and clinical counseling. There’s no such thing as transgenderism. Rather, it is simply another tool used by the Left to destroy the nuclear family and weaken men.

All medical or mental health treatment of gender dysphoria must now be affirming. Which means you as a medical professional must affirm without question that the patients self diagnosis is correct and then do what ever the patient thinks is the correct treatment.

How insane is that? A friend of mine’s father who was a Psychiatrist (a Holocaust survivor as well) was holding out when the American Psychiatric Association wanted to stop treating homosexuality as a mental illness. His office was vandalized, complete with swasticas painted all over the building.
They should ban them everywhere. It’s mutilation and the suicide rates are 46%.
There are people, (ok, its really women) who demand the right to murder their babies. How is mutilating them after birth any different?
democrats are the enemy here, folks.
It’s sad that this even has to be banned.

Sunshine lollipops, rainbows, unicorns and bon-bons... who really gives a rip. Stop funding the NCAA, don’t support the NCAA, stop any grants, financial dealings, capital improvements, or governmental dealings. No more burgers and fries at the white house.
Promote intramural sports and get these poor souls off of and out of what’s become the mass entertainment industry of collegiate sports.

It has been my experience that the parents were the instigators and abettors in this crap. The children do not have the knowledge to make these decisions on their own.
