About one-third of COVID-19 survivors have a neurological or psychiatric condition six months later, a large-sample study conducted by British researchers has found. Researchers examined health records of more than 236,000 patients. They found that about 34% of COVID-19 survivors were diagnosed with a neurological or psychiatric condition and were more likely to develop brain conditions than those suffering from other respiratory tract infections, according to the study published Tuesday in The Lancet Psychiatry journal...Anxiety was the most common condition, diagnosed in 17% of patients. Fourteen percent of patients experienced mood disorders, 7% had substance misuse disorders and 5% experienced insomnia. About 13% had their first diagnosis of a mental health issue.

Histrionics.

But the past year might give any healthy body a little emotional disorder...

I haven’t worn masks outdoors, either, except to put one on just before entering a business with a mask policy.

Next up:

Because recent research has shown the CCP virus makes you unstable, you can no longer purchase firearms.

Wait for it.
Next “events” may have virus survivors gone berserk to assist with the “plan”.

“admitted to intensive care with severe COVID-19”

Here it is in context (same phrase below).

A third of COVID survivors suffer neurological or mental disorders -study

“Anxiety, at 17%, and mood disorders, at 14%, were the most common, and did not appear to be related to how mild or severe the patient’s COVID-19 infection had been.

Among those who had been admitted to intensive care with severe COVID-19 however, 7% had a stroke within six months, and almost 2% were diagnosed with dementia.”

Could being on a ventilator possibly contribute to this? Why yes, it seems it does. Some articles. Pre COVID-19

Sounds like it treats insomnia: 5% of covid patients had insomnia. That is at least 50% less with patients and no Covid.

Various studies worldwide have shown the prevalence of insomnia in 10%–30% of the population, some even as high as 50%–60%. It is common in older adults, females, and people with medical and mental ill health.

Anxiety - something that’s up across the board due to the press and gov. Once you have it, even though odds are good you’ll live, most think their going to die. PTSD would be expected in this hysterical environment.

I think that 3/4 of covid 19 survivors have not even been diagnosed with covid 19.

Huh? Since when are any of these “brain conditions” ? Common, temporary things that people go through from time to time. Except for “substance misuse” I guess . Is that like “abuse”? What a crock.

"Because recent research has shown the CCP virus makes you unstable, you can no longer purchase firearms."

Democrats would like to do that, but it requires adjudication of insanity. Such cases are usually in regards to psychoses like schizophrenia and individuals dangerous to the general public if armed.

I was guessing 1/2, so we're not far apart on that.
