Alaska's Republican governor essentially told President Joe Biden to take a hike in response to the Democrat's insistence on a nationwide, one-size-fits-all coronavirus mask mandate.
"No thanks, @POTUS - you can keep your mask mandate," Mike Dunleavy tweeted Monday evening. "We’ll keep doing it the #Alaska way: trust the people & let them live their lives."

We do. Sad to see folks by themselves walking around in the clean air outside with the sun shining wearing their masks. Butt, if it makes them FEEL safer, go ahead. Or is it too much effort to reach up and dislodge the thing.
They need to hunker down and stop being reckless. LOL!

Actually, Dr Rand Paul, you are correct except for (IMO) one word left out: “dirty”. It’s like wearing your dirty underwear day after day. To start with, very few wear an effective mask - most wear masks not for medical use, homemade, cloth or whatever. Do they NOT touch their masks while wearing them & treat them like medical waste when removing? Do they launder cloth masks or throw away disposables after every use or keep them in their cars & wear them for months at a time just to get in a store?
All of this is why “Every one of the mandates — and you look in country after country, state after state — you look at when the mask mandates went in — the incidents went up exponentially after the mandates,” he [Paul] said in December.

Stupid things I've seen people with masks do:
- Jogging;
- Hiking;
- Bicycling;
- Washing their car alone in their driveway;
- Driving alone in their car with the windows up;
- Taking a "smoke break" outside with their mask on (pulling it down to take a puff, then exhaling through their mask);
- Driving with their mask on, windows up, taking the mask down to take a puff, then exhaling through the mask;
- Walking their dog (just them and the dog) - I have a neighbor who lives 100 feet away who puts his mask on to get his mail and take his garbage to the curb. Never see him outside otherwise;
- Putting their mask on in their car, only to walk across a parking lot and enter a store;
- I have another neighbor who won't smoke his cigars in his own home so he puts on a mask to go outside to do it and smokes through his mask;
- Neighbors who sit outside on their decks/patios by themselves with masks on.
I just feel like I'm surrounded by stupidity everywhere I go.
Yes it is very sad. I was working in the yard yesterday (Florida) about the time school let out and saw probably six kids, I suspect Middle School aged, walking separately home. All were wearing masks. No one around them, all alone, walking home from school.
The government, government schools, and the kids parents should be at least embarrassed if not strung up for committing this fraud on kids. The future may be very timid with this generation of sub-adults.
Mark Twain: “No amount of evidence will ever persuade an idiot(s).” Looks we have a plentiful supply. I’ve seen pics of some of the trespassers at the boarder wearing them too. Guess where most of the masks end up. Right? NOT in the biohaz bins place everywh...........Oh. There aren’t any.
- Driving with a mask on, windows up and wearing one of those long clear face shields that are popular.
I mean, come on man! What, was the windshield gonna give way and they needed the face shield or something?
Sometimes when I see these people I just wanna Nascar their ass and put 'em into a wall or something.

I’ve seen that plus a face shield. Mostly women and younger ones at that. I think it has a direct correlation to NPR listening. Constant Covid 24/7.

They don’t understand that, by unnecessarily wearing a mask, they are jeopardizing MY liberty.
