Why would someone want to even make a reference to Auschwitz on the field? Sometimes people can think they are untouchable and do stupid stuff like this. To even have the kids involved in this is terrible.

The article doesn't tell us what the reference was. The only words mentioned by the ADL were "rabbi" and "dreidel".

“Rabbi” and “dreidel” are benign, unless also used in context with “Auschwitz”, then he might have a problem. Probably not a guy you want influencing kids. At minimum, he’s weird.

A dreidel or dreidle is a four-sided spinning top, played during the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.
