South Dakota's governor has been attacked as 'cowardly' by the right for her partial veto of a bill banning transgender women from girls' sports - a move which shocked supporters of the rising Republican star, and dismayed many of her constituents.
Kristi Noem, the telegenic 49-year-old rodeo fan, widely believed to have presidential ambitions, sent the bill back to the state legislature on Friday.
The Women's Fairness in Sports bill is intended to ban biological males from competing in girls' sports at public schools, and was championed by the governor earlier this month while she commemorated International Women's Day.

I heard that Karl Rove is heading to S Dakota to begin some serious rehabilitation. Give her a month. She’ll be back on the Fox circuit throwing principled conservative heat.
100% behind her. Anyone who isn’t is not a conservative. They are an operative of someone else. She has stood strong on every conservative point. You attackers are afraid of her.
It's no coincidence that she used the same approach -- and the exact same words -- as her fellow South Dakotan John Thune here.
I attribute this whole fiasco to two annoying features of small-state politics:
1. They're amateurs.
2. They are often easily dominated by outside money and interests.
"I'll sign this massive spending bill that has no money for the wall, but never again!" -- as he then spent the rest of his term in office doing the exact same thing over and over again.
Not afraid of a politician. She is not being conservative on this issue of sex perversion, one that along with homosexual "marriage," cuts out the heart of civil society.
Seems like the neverTrumpers have a new target. Listen to her interview with Glenn Beck. The interview with Tucker was worthless and he was being a jackass with interrupting and making funny faces.
Supposedly she is a potential POTUS candidate in 2024. I will not be voting for her. She is bought and paid for by the Chamber of Commerce types.

I wouldn't be doing my job as an informed citizen if I didn't ask hard questions of the candidates.
I did the same to Donald Trump - I'm not picking on her, but I do expect her not to whine when questioned by patriots.
You are not asking hard questions. You are saying your way or the highway. You are trying to kill conservatives that are not your conservative. You are helping no one. And the inevitable end of your asking hard questions is to get someone like Lindsey Graham as the nominee. You are why RINOs get into office. You ask hard questions of conservatives and you give RINOs a pass.
Idaho did a transgender sports ban and it was thrown out in court.

I supported her as recently as when she supported the transgender bill......
