One year ago today, an article of mine at American Thinker became a flashpoint of mainstream media coverage and criticism. Before two weeks had passed, my article was referenced, including with links to it and me in four major articles at the Washington Post, two in the New York Times (one of them on page one – which I exposed as Fake News here), Politico, Vanity Fair, Buzzfeed, New York Magazine, and others. Many of these articles were syndicated and went around the world.
The reason for all this fuss was that I was the first one in the national media to challenge the media-driven image of Dr. Anthony Fauci as a sage and a savior, a man whose commands to shut down the nation must be obeyed. You see, I had studied Fauci’s handling of AIDS starting almost 40 years ago, and I knew how he operated, and that he was far from politically neutral. The constant media adoration at the start of the “fifteen days to bend the curve” got to me, and I titled my article: “Anthony Fauci, the NIH's face of the coronavirus, is a Deep-State Hillary Clinton–loving stooge.”
In the first article that took me on in the Washington Post (March 26, 2020), national political reporter and former Rhodes Scholar Isaac Stanley-Becker confirmed the impact of my American Thinker item:
Chowka’s piece has generated nearly 20,000 interactions on Facebook alone — more than the typical well performing story in the mainstream media.
That WaPo story was only the beginning, however. It was followed in quick succession by three more in Bezos’s outlet and by two in the New York Times. Subsequent articles implied that I should be blamed for alleged threats to Dr.

Really? I didn’t think there were any left in full draconian lockdown. Even here in Santa Clara County, California (ground zero for extreme COVID fear and obeisance to liberal government), we are back open. The only restrictions seem to be reduced capacity in restaurants and every store requires you to wear a mask. But all the stores from very small to very big are open. The freeways are jammed again and driving anywhere has become a pain in the neck again. Having the roads, freeways and parks largely to myself the past year was sure nice while it lasted!

If three masks are good today, why weren’t they a year ago?

Most important if you develop complications from the vaccine or get cancer or some other disease that is later discovered was caused by the vaccine the drug company is bullet proof. They can’t be sued or held accountable after they make untold billions! Nice work if you can get it!

One day they will be interviewing him from behind bars. He will be saying how he likes the world listening to him and the control he had. It had him on a high.
His fall from grace began the day he contradicted Joseph Stolen and kept pushing his ‘COVID will never end’ narrative. They wanted that narrative when they could blame Trump for it. Now they only want COVID as a thing so they can keep their boot on our neck but not so much that they can’t selectively reward just their supporters with easing restrictions. By defying the Xiden narrative he went from golden boy to mud overnight and for once I agree with Xiden: Fauci is a self serving POS that needs to be humiliated.
Fauci was being called a putz wayyyy before this guy joined the party. Peter Navarro for one was anti-Fauci early on. And while Chowka may have been attacked by a few publications, for him to claim that HE started it reminds me of another "journalist."
Hugh Hewitt will NEVER ask Dr. Fraus a tough question.....sad.

Yes! Fauci freely tells lies for his version of “The Greater Good.” Which is expansion of government, run by bureaucrats who need to be in charge, because they are “expert.” He’s a classic Wilsonian. The world would be utopia if we put benevolent experts like him in charge.
He’ll do and say anything, no matter how deceptive, to advance The Administrative State.
Unfortunately, Trump’s achilles heel was his germophobia, and he bonded with Fauci early on over it. Blinded him long enough untill Fauci dug in and then, well, you know, the thing.
Trump trusted Pence and that got him Fauxi. Neither Fauxi or Pence can be trusted.
Dr. Fauci believes — genuinely believes — in the utility of the “noble lie” and in his supreme authority to use the noble lie to compel the obedience of the hoi polloi to the edicts of the State.
His insistence upon universal risk of AIDS is the same sort of noble lie that he has employed over and over during the Wuhan virus panic.
In a 1983 JAMA paper, the esteemed Dr. Fauci even claimed that AIDS could be spread by ordinary interaction among family members.
One does well to avoid “profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called”.
Fauci. So typical of a bureau rat that gets rewarded for being wrong time and time again.

Agree 100%. Never trusted Pence at all. His body language and facial expression around Trump gave him away early. He always stood a little too far away, stone faced, while Trump and everyone else was animated. Looking like he’d rather be anywhere else, trying to disappear.
Sessions also. What a trap he was. Snapped shut as soon as he was confirmed. Heck, the setup came during confirmation hearings, when they got him to agree, on camera, to recuse “if the russians...” Al Franken was in on it.
They were always 3 steps ahead. Not Trump’s fault. Surrounded by weak quislings.

The Fearpers will be here shortly to (a) attack you because SCIENCE! says 'wear your mask'; and (b) attempt to explain that because HIV did cross over into the heterosexual population -- downstream of injection drug abuse -- at such an abysmally low percentage that statistical scientists refer to it as "pushing a string", that Fauci was still correct and Reagan was wrong.
During one of the Covid press briefings I am thinking last summer, A reporter actually ask if the virus could have escaped form a lab. Tony answered “I can prove the virus was not man made”. He started acting scientific for a few seconds, lost his cool and stormed out of the briefing. It appeared the reporter was trying to state that was not the question but the opportunity deteriorated as Dr. F had his tantrum. You could tell he knew he blew it.
I really wish I could locate a video of that breifing.
