I was in Saint John in February, and it was refreshingly free of trashy people. Lots of families with kids and a few couples like ourselves, almost entirely from the mainland US. Interesting mixture of folks from the northeast and a surprising amount of people from the Atlanta area for some reason. Best part was NO CRUISE SHIP INVADERS.

same thing in vegas lately - wealthier/educaated folks aren’t traveling, so the rock-bottom prices on flights and hotels brings out the usual suspects who otherwise couldn’t afford to be there.
