“Old” people are an *expense* - thus, expendable.

Kinda like unwanted babies....only with estates to loot.

Here in WA we had at the beginning 1,450 or so deaths out of a population of 7.5 million; Inslee shuts down the state. As of now, 2,000 businesses plus the jobs are permanently gone. He instituted four phases of how to open the state. We suffered through phase one and two. When asked what phase three and four were he didn’t know.

I will jump in here since I am from Washington State and my wife works for one of the many Life Care Centers in this State.

First, my opinion of Gov. Goofball (Inslee) is pretty low already and I have always wondered why the focus only on Cuomo and not Inslee also. It all started here and ever since the beginning he has been a dictator about the whole thing. If he wants to be a dictator, then he has to take responsibility for all the things that have went wrong with his decisions based on "the science and data". If I heard him say that one more time, my head will blow up. He would never tell us what the "science and data" are probably because the words are too big for him to understand or even pronounce. Yes, he is that stupid.

Now, my wife's Life Care facility went through hell with the "rules" changing almost every day and not getting the support they needed at the State level but yet getting these ever changing mandates. It was very stressful and I would hope that someone with a good legal mind could take this ball and run with it and sue Gov. Goofball all the way back to the stone age from whence he came.

Oh, and by the way, my wife's facility ended up with an outbreak quite a few months ago and no one died from the Covid. Matter of fact, most of the residents didn't get much more than average cold symptoms and we are talking pretty compromised folks there.

If this were a just country, all five of the governors that sent covid to nursing homes would go to prison for the rest of their lives

We need murderers like Inslee, Cuomo, Whitmer and Wolf to stand before a Nuremberg-type tribunal for crimes against humanity. Fauci, too

Are you listening, Senator Graham?

I guess hanging by their necks until dead would be asking too much.

I went to the LifeCare in Kirkland in late November 2019 over an accounting issue - so I was inside and met with someone in an office there. 10 days later I was sicker than a dog - something unusual for me. I managed to get better enough to make a planned trip to Florida in mid December and while there I thought it was coming back but after a day or so it went away again and have been fine ever since.

I didn’t have all the COVID reported symptoms but I couldn’t get off the couch even to get to the Dr. for the first day or so...all I did was sleep. Had extreme sore throat, cough, other flu like symptoms. I keep thinking it was COVID...in December 2019.

Good question. My guess would be, per month. But, I don't know.

What I DO know is: Hospitals and Nursing homes are quick to take advantage of ANY additional financing offered by the government.

Never understood why the outbreak in the WA nursing home didn’t lead to restrictions in all US nursing homes, especially when you consider how quickly the virus spread among the patients. We keep calling the sick and elderly the most vulnerable but their care doesn’t seem to reflect this vulnerability

Inslee is a joke. Recall up in Seattle they put up huge field hospitals next to the ball fields south of downtown. Those hospitals were never used, and were quietly removed in the dark of night.

...seven days after the onset of their symptoms "AND 72 hours since resolution of fever without antipyretics and symptoms proving.

These guidelines sound reasonable in the context of trying to maintain some capacity in the hospitals . The CDC now says patients are safe 10 days after first symptoms and only 24 hours after fever abates.

This is a couple of days earlier but much longer after the fever and other symptoms are gone.

I doubt these patients had much to do with spreading Covid in the care facilities.

The problem isn’t who caused it but our overreaction to it.

Apparently, 300 soldiers were sent to Wuhan in sept 2019 through SeaTac. Came back ten days later.

Had this illness mid Oct 2019-Nov 2019. 3 weeks duration. Never before been so sick.

Being familiar w extreme colds, flu, and avoiding pneumonia, upped the - normal of 6-8Grams daily, divided - Vit C intake to at least 25 grams/day (dissolved in distilled water and neutralized w/ baking soda and powdered magnesium, sipped through straw continually)

Slept w head elevated diagonal slant on couch to breathe.

Extreme body pain in soft tissues, back, neck, -abdomen and head - aspirin/ibuproxyn/tylenol not doable and not recommended anyway without food on stomache. Nutrition consisted of powdered fruit and green drinks and oranges and orange juice, nothing needing digestion.

Pain relief obtained by soaking cotton or silk bandannas in 1:2 vinegar to water and applying to body parts continually - similar to old sunburn remedy. This also assists considerably with nausea. - Sleep 2-3 hrs, awake 1/4 hour.

Have found over years that very high doses of Vit C dissolved in water and drunk will send a sick person to sleep very quickly, believe it to be the stimulation of the immune system diverting all bodily energy to healing.
