Sand is used in concrete and glass, making it essential in housing and tech There's a sand shortage, with under 1,000 sand mines in the US That could hurt the construction industry, which uses up to 50 billion tons a year Since 2015 there's been a global shortage of glass that's only worsening as vials are needed for vaccine rollout Experts say demand for glass vials will rise by 2 billion over the next two years

Too bad some manufacturer wouldn’t consider buying sand from a place like Syria. They could use the processing jobs. Another plus, it would have nothing to do with Opium Poppies. Give them something to do besides dodge enemy missiles being dropped by uninvited foreign countries.

Ok Bill Gates; release the vaccine mosquitos.

Gaslighting by the media is becoming boring.
Yup. There might be a sand PROCESSING shortage, but that's all.

That sort of sounds like vaccines will not be voluntary in some locations.

Sounds like somebody is working to create another crisis for us to worry about that we cannot do anything about.

There are varying grades of sand, which are used for making different things. Concrete sand is not the same as glass sand, and some glass products require specialized types of sand.

The St. Peter Sandstone deposits in Missouri should fill the needs for quite awhile. Mine it!

we actually sell sand to the Saudis and the middle eat in general...
their sand is useless for building as it’s almost round having been rolled over and over a billion times
sand needs to have sides and surfaces for building
and sand for glass is different in composition
