Big business is the right wing. Big government is the left wing. Same buzzard, though. Big Business LOVES Big Government. And Big Government serves Big Business and vice-versa.

...it sounds to me like they are Accepting FULL LIABILITY for any and all harm done to someone wearing a mask in their stores.

Seems to me if you're going into their store you're accepting their conditions to enter their private property.

Have a problem wearing a mask? Don't go in their store.

Or do you have a right to on anyone's property that you want?

Sounds like a business opportunity for smaller companies to siphon off some customers.

Don’t force me if I don’t want to.

No one's forcing you to go in those stores.

Here in Texas, I want a store to be maskless, at least for customers. I may shop briefly if a store still requires masks for all. I will not browse at a store with a mask on. This change is meant to get the economy going again (despite Biden and Harris) but won’t help if people have become too scared to stop masking.

The point is virtue signalling.

Out civilization is dying via a death of a thousand cuts.

The Home Depot I visited two days ago in Texas didn’t have any signs requiring face masks.

I was in a Joe V’s Smart Shop (H.E.B. version of Sam’s or Costco) today and there were people without mask. Despite the sign, nobody said anything to them.

They can keep the sign up, but people will ignore it.

CVS said: “If a customer is not wearing a mask or face covering, we will refer them to our signage and ask that they help protect themselves and those around them by listening to the experts and heeding the call to wear a face covering,” a spokesperson for the company said, as reported by CBS News.

I will refer them to my Middle Finger thus giving them a laurel and hardy FU.

In Florida our grocery store (publix) still has the mask sign up. I see people not wearing them and they don’t say anything. It’s not being enforced in the stores that I see. I wear it in the liquor store to be kind.

Exactly.

In NORTH country, attitudes are a bit different

Enough tho *mask wearing* signs are posted, few retailers enforce the mandate.

“I presume that at least means that although they may decline to serve you or allow you entry, you at least can’t be arrested.”

I believe you’re correct. I think a lot of the crazy videos of people getting into physical confrontations over masks is because they won’t leave. If you don’t leave the minute management tells you to you’re automatically trespassing and in the wrong.

The Walmart in my town has a sign that says "Customers are required to wear a mask or face covering as per state and local requirements." Or words to that effect. They have a person at the entrance that always asks me. "Do you have a mask sir?" I always respond "No I do not." They then ask me if I would like one. I respond, "No. I don't wear them", and walk right into the store. Inside, I would estimate 50% of the customers do not have a mask on. It is an absolute joke. Most of the sheeple that do have a mask on don't cover their nose.

What are these stores going to do? Call the Sheriff? I doubt it. The Sheriff enforces the law not some edict by a local politician or committee.
