I submit that ship sailed a long time ago.
The gay Trump supporters I know lead quiet unassuming lives. They are freedom lovers who don’t flaunt their sexuality or even talk about it. It’s a small part of who they are as Patriots and citizens.
You could do a lot worse than having them as your neighbor.
They are disgusted by loud pushy gay activist and many believe in traditional marriage between a man and a woman.
Most of my gay friends loved Trump.
faggots like 2% of the entire population and I doubt half of them would ever vote republican. Supporting their disgusting life style is not worth it for the GOP.

No one is saying that various kinds of perverts cannot vote for a Republican. But if you’re trying to tell me that a conservative has to be muzzled to the extent of not being able to state the obvious (homosexuality and lesbianism is perverted), we have to part company.
If Grinnell takes conservative positions, I’m all for it. If he tries to push a homosexual agenda into public policy, I am against it.

Some of it is probably due to what you say - but in these depraved times of woke parents intentionally raising children with no norms on their sexual identity or preferences, I'm sure there's more genuine confusion and consequent identificaion with the "B(isexual)" or "I(ntersex)" labels.

The last person without sin who walked the planet was Jesus. We all are sinners. Unless GOD sent Jesus down to walk the planet, everyone is a sinner.

I have several gay friends/colleagues. There is nothing wrong with them. Many are very politically conservative and vote Republican. I’m sure there are many others who would join but for our “do not enter” sign for them.
I’m very politically/socially conservative, especially on abortion, but if gays want to join us there are more than welcome. You do not win elections by subtraction.
I would vote for Ric Grenell if he ran for President.
If he is good enough for President Trump he is good enough for me. End of story.

The point of the author, and mine, is that Grenell was not merely hired by Trump, he has given the post of DNI - Director National Intelligence - because Trump WANTED him and didn’t disqualify him because he is “gay”.
I think the author understands Trump better than you do.
We are better than the other side because our whole lives don’t revolve around race and sexuality.
That’s all they see. Identity politics.
I can assure you gay conservatives are more concerned about having a job, low taxes, freedom of religion, free speech, border security, the right to protect themselves/family than they are about their sexuality.
Try to focus on the good things about Trump supporters not the things that disgust you.
Their sexuality is between God and them. God will judge who we are inside.
