Violent protesters descended on Portland late Saturday, an almost weekly occurrence, this time rioting over President Joe Biden's administration reopening a controversial migrant center designed to house minors who illegally entered the United States without their parents.
Violent protesters, who were reportedly associated with Antifa, marched down the streets of Portland's Pearl District smashing cars and vandalizing businesses.
More from KOIN-TV:
Businesses in the district have been coated with graffiti decrying police and Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Demonstrators also broke windows at some businesses.
A Chipotle on Northwest Lovejoy Street had its windows smashed out at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday while customers were still inside. Other businesses caught in the damage include a Starbucks, an Urban Pantry and an Umpqua Bank. As protesters chanted for police to "go home," residents shouted at protesters from their balconies to "go home."
Videos posted to social media showed hundreds of black-clad protesters creating chaos in the streets.

When does the FBI put up a billboard in Portland with a hotline for tips about violent agitators? When does Bank of America start checking the records of customers travelling back and forth, to and from Portland, on days that coincide with violent protests there?
The voting machines only need to come in play at the state level. Portland is 76% registered democrat. It’s not possible to get a decent person elected in Portland.
ANTIFA Excuses for Violence
It was sunny, and very annoying...
It was a cloudy day, tough for your mental outlook...
There was a few pebbles of gravel in the street.
Street lights were working normally.
Three ANTIFA regulars needed new shoes.
Five guys were out of condoms.
That’s what I was thinking of, yes.

Then they are like Ferguson. They might as well just burn down their own homes and businesses.
I do not feel sorry for police when they abdicate their responsibility. Either fulfill your oath to protect & defend citizens or quit.
Only liberals turn beauty into filth.
I’d love to visit Oregon, it’s a beautiful state. Don’t let these godless savages destroy it.
Those moving out to greener pastures are the ones who created this lunacy. The seeds will only sprout again in places where this doesn’t exist
People of the West Coast are getting what they voted for and deserve!
Fans of old late night Horror Movies know... the Monster always returns to the Castle to destroy its master.
Portland must look like Dresden by now.
Biden has created more of a problem because he is listening to incompetent people. He is not up to being President. He is being used, because he is compromised.
Off topic: that was such a good line, made even more cooler by having Micheal Caine say it. That cat could read the phone book and make it sound good.
as long as their destruction takes place at night, they’re OK, according to Garland. Hardly a crime to be arrested for, and if by chance they are, no bail will be required, just catch and release.
Thomas Sowell talks about one of the reasons for gubmint is protecting property rights and that’s not happening. Really drives home the importance of the 2nd Amendment.
I live at the Coast, and it’s beautiful here. I hate the fact that Portland, Salem, and Eugene run the entire political apparatus in this state.
