The FBI is reportedly investigating whether the dognapping of Lady Gaga's bulldogs was politically motivated because she sang at President Joe Biden's inauguration last month.

According to The Sun, FBI agents who specialize in kidnapping and ransom cases are working with the Los Angeles Police Department to find out 'exactly what motivated this incident'.

A source familiar with the incident told the news outlet: 'Lady Gaga is high profile of course but she sang at President Biden's inauguration which takes this case to another level.'

I heard he used a noose for a leash, and Subway crumbs were found at the crime scene...

And she only wants the dogs. Doesn’t care about the fact her employee was shot 4 times ( as reported).

"And she only wants the dogs. Doesn’t care about the fact her employee was shot 4 times ( as reported)."

It would be interesting to see the actual status of the dog walker. Some sources I've read referred to him as a family friend. Otherwise, it's not sure if he had his own dog walking business, or if he was domestic help. California Worker's Comp laws are pretty broad regarding the requirement for worker's comp for domestic help, so he may very well have a worker's comp claim for his injuries and medicals.

In CA, “full time” domestic workers can receive workers’ compensation benefits. For domestic help, CA defines, "full time as 20 hours x week for work inside the house (maids, butlers, cooks etc.) and just 10 hours per week or more for those that work outside the house (i.e. gardners, pool cleaners, etc.) The employee must have worked at least 52 hours in the 90 days before the injury to qualify for benefits and have been paid at least $100 during that time period.

If her dog walker meets that criterion, Lady Gaga (and/or her insurer) are on the hook for worker's comp.

From December and NYC. Bet this family didn't get help from the Feebs...

Reward offered after beloved dachshund Luca swiped from outside Manhattan deli

Wonder how Gaga explains the help she's getting to all people who aren't.

Was the dog’s leash handle shaped like a noose?

State laws discussed in the above.

Someone should really dig into how and why the Feebs got involved in this.
