This is child abuse. Children have a greater chance of drowning or dying in a car crash than they do from coronavirus.

Agreed. It’s absurd, but hardly “abuse”. If these writers saw what they did to us when I was in school, they’d have a very different perspective on what actually constitutes “abuse”.
