Since Mars is in an orbit further from the Sun than Earth is pretty certain that microbial life has made it that on the solar Wind. So finding evidence of life is not pie-in-the-sky. Mars used to have Oceans and a decent enough atmosphere. Earth life could have established itself there.

Finding evidence that there had been life on Mars was the only question that I ever expected to be answered.

The way this is written, I wonder if the author thinks there is no life in space anywhere. Does the bible claim Earth is the only planet created for life?

Actually, I am quite unhappy with all the buzz about finding life on Mars, and, for that matter, finding life anywhere outside the Earth.
Why do not we just investigate Mars features, composition, do scientific studies, temperature, etc.
Instead we are constantly fed this life investigation crap. I frankly do not care and drives me nuts. Even if they find some low life there, what difference it would make?
NASA somehow thinks that finding life sells, or what?
Or maybe they want to find proof of Darwin theories?
