Biden Starting Commission to Ponder Supreme Court Reform

Democrats have talked about packing the Supreme Court and seeking to end lifetime appointments of justices. Now a new commission under the Biden administration will be looking at the subject of court reforms. Indeed, President Joe Biden's White House is staffing the panel, which will examine reforms to the nation's top court and the federal judiciary, Politico reported. "The president remains committed to an expert study of the role and debate over reform of the court and will have more to say in the coming weeks," a White House official said in a statement.

Ok..ok..so enough already. We find ourselves past all this. It’s ok to disagree as long as we do it with respect.

So, here we are. So far, Biden hasn’t even been in office a month yet and it’s lookin really messed up.

Let’s discuss what it is we can do and where do we place our energies.

My first thought...Texas state rep. Kyle Biedermann has file legislation here in Texas to place a referendum on next Nov. ballot regarding a TEXIT.

What do you guyz think? For / against?

The Left will, just, do whatever they want to do, because they are in complete political power. They will, completely, ignore the constitution. One Party Rule exists here, now, and that’s the Democratic Party, only.

Exactly right. The states send their electors. The states are empowered to send whomever they like, chosen by whatever means they desire. They can hold elections. They can hold cage matches. They can hold seances. Coin flips. Game of cards. Roll some dice.

The states choose the electors. The vice president is not empowered to accept or reject anyone sent by the states. If the state of Alabama appoints Queen Elizabeth and the Harlem Globe Trotters as electors, then whoever they vote for President of the United States must be read aloud by the President of the Senate (the VP). He has zero authority. The entire Federal government has no authority. It’s a state matter.

When did we lose sight of the fact that we’re for states’ rights? Federalism? All just gone when it doesn’t suit our immediate needs?

I disagree. It is true that, so far, the only push back has been grumbling and bitching from the Right. But there's a lot of extreme and justified anger out there over the fact that the Left stole the election and they did it blatantly, and on top of that leftists want to destroy anyone who points out that fact.

There's also building rage over the Left's full frontal assault to turn Trump supporters into criminals who should be removed from society when it is a fact that the Left's communist foot soldiers in BLM and Antifa are the true domestic terrorists.

This sickening gaslighting and the one-sided persecutions the Left engages in will ultimately be the catalyst that sets off the powder keg our country has become. It won't take much more of this to turn things hot. There are a lot of folks out there who lack restraint, or whose restraint is quickly reaching its limit.

Yup.

Says NOTHING about determining whether the votes are valid or not.

We either want rule of LAW or we do not.


I understand our frustration with the way the events of the last months have played out, but if we are going to stay true to what we SAY we believe, then we'd better have a good battle plan to do what the Declaration of Independence says:

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends,
 it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government,
 laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form,
 as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
 
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes;

It is inherent in all acts of government, let alone in all acts relating to private parties, that fraud when detected should be addressed and remediated.

Should those certificates be accepted automatically?

Seems as though there SHOULD be a few steps in between the PROVEN abuses and the vote counting.

...the VP has a role to play, and Congress has a role to play, in determining that the certificates received are valid certificates, and accepting them or not accepting them.

'Tis easy to SAY this; now; but HOW does the PRESENT law explain how to do this?


The teller at my bank window has a role to play in insuring that no counterfeit money comes into the institution through her window, but does she check to see that I've only deposited around $1,000 every Friday and THIS time I've tried to deposit $3,000?

In my area; a house has had a sign saying, “Thanks for $2 gas!” since from before the election.

The sign is still up; but the gas is now around $2.45
