It should be free, but I can see the need to protect other drivers and ledestria s incase of accidents too, who through no fault of their own suffer devastating loss or crippling injuries. Not sure what kind of solution there could be to accommodate both sides?
Oops I did say .is enemy. I meant i strange. Yes I agree, folks should be free to drive, however. Ther edges need to be some kind of protection against accidents in my opinion
Exaclty. If they can force people to buy something against their will then that opens the door to forcing practically anything
I did say lescence, I meant insurance. My bad. I thinktnere needs to be some way to protect the 10s of 1000s of folks hurt I. Accidents every year through no fault of their own. But then that opens up the door to mandating I surface for everything that could cause damage, so not really sure what kind of solution is to be had.
The 13th amendment already allows for slavery and involuntary servitude:
Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
Now they just have to make all Americans felons.

If a person won’t drive safely, or is incapable of driving safely, yes they should be restricted from driving.
My beef is the concept you need permission from the government to drive
your car. Do you need it to walk? Do you need it to meet with friends? Do you need it to eat out?
There needs to be some regulation, but it is not a privilege. It is a right.
Dang messed up my last post to you, ugggh. I meant to discuss insurance, not liscences being required for the protection of in ocent folks hurt i. Accidents. Not sure what kind of protection for them could be had without required insurance really? Itsatough subject. But like I said to the other fe.la. if its mandated for driving then it opens door to mandating it for all potential tially dangerous items too. So its a damned if you do, damned if you don’t scenario.
Driving does need some regulating.
People who refuse to drive safely or can’t should be restricted.
People should be able to demonstrate their knowledge of the rules of the road too.
Other than that, it’s a right.
The government cannot arbitrarily take your right to drive away based on politics, or any other factor unrelated to driving competency.
Insurance would fall in there. You need to have liability insurance to protect others, and hopefully your own losses.
No ingredients. I did say privilege. But yes, it is a right to pursue happiness really which is protected, and its a necessity in most places these days,, really so it shouldn’t be consideddd a privilege really but a right and necessity.
Wow my autocorrect real.y acting up. I meant,no, I agree... not no ingredients lol
Thanks Bob.
No problem with the posts.
If I’m tired the I wind up with giberish.
Roberts should retire. He let himself get buffaloed by a mob. He is not fit to wield the gavel anymore, not that he ever was.
The next line belies that.

The dems’ position will be that since Trump is already removed from office, that penalty is already operative. It doesn’t need to be considered or voted on...it already meets the requirement of the two thirds vote. IOW, the two thirds vote is moot and they can move directly to the disqualification part of the penalty which only needs a simple majority under Senate rules. He’ll be disqualified from future office.
I’d have to agree with you.
He is unfit to lead the court.
At this point, that would give the Left the opening to
appoint.
As bad as Roberts is, I know they could top him.
Hohoho. Count on it! Ron Kuby, Kunstler’s one-time partner, comes to mind. Or how about Aldred.
Yeah. He should just go at least hold them for 2022. I want 3 impeachment’s if we get both houses.
