Bill Barr has said that Donald Trump's allegations of election fraud and his claims that the Presidency was 'stolen' from him 'precipitated' the DC riots, in his first TV interview since resigning as Attorney General.
Barr was asked about Trump and his campaign's claims about the legitimacy of the election, and appeared to take a swipe at his former boss.
ITV News Global Security Editor Rohit Kachroo asked Barr: 'Perhaps the debate about the integrity of the election was the final straw?'

In olden days Mr Barr would have been handled differently! The SOB would have been put on a lie detector and ask him if he hid evidence of a stolen election! If he says yes, cut out his tongue! Then hang him!
I originally thought Barr was decent, although unwilling to do his job - or doing it so slowly that it amounted to the same thing - because like most GOPers, he lived in constant fear of looking “political” if he actually revealed any of the truths about Dem politicians or policies.
Now I see that he was on the other side all along.
Bill, Roger Stone arrested and convicted of lying to Congress. Yet you did not go after Jack Dorsey, Tim Cook, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and Sundar Pichai for lying to Congress. Nor Peter Strzok for lying to Congress. Lastly what about those who lied to the FISA court to get a warrant to SPY on Americans? I believe that all this time you have been blowing hot air, no wonder you are so good at playing the bag pipe.
