It’s Just Bulls***’: AG William Barr Warned Trump His Legal Team Was Lying To Him, Report Says

Attorney General William Barr reportedly warned President Donald Trump that his legal team was lying to him about the election being stolen and that some of their theories were “bulls***.”

Barr made the remarks during a December 1 meeting with the president and other top aides in the White House, according to left-leaning Axios, which has been highly critical of the administration. The meeting reportedly took place because Trump was angry that Barr gave an interview to the Associated Press that contradicted what Trump’s legal team had been claiming publicly.

In the AP interview, Barr said that federal investigators had been looking into allegations of voter fraud but noted that they had “not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election.”

I would recommend dropping any comparisons of vote numbers from one election to another. There are simply more voters today than there were in 2008 or 2012, so comparing actual numbers is meaningless.

I'd also suggest that the idiotic mail-in ballot process pretty much ensured that Biden would get millions more votes than Obama even if only the legitimate ballots were counted. Enabling people to vote by mail drives up voter turnout in two groups: people who are lazy and people who are stupid. The vast majority of these people are going to be Democrats.

I’d believe Guiliani over Barr in a New York second...........

Are you aware that Giuliani never once included an allegation of voter fraud in any court filing or court hearing after Election Day? In fact, he went to great lengths to state clearly that the Trump challenges were NOT predicated on allegations of voter fraud. On that point it sounds as if Giuliani and Barr agree.

Giuliani should not be lumped in with Sydney Powell and Lin Wood. As a lawyer who was actually representing a client instead of representing his own interests, he was smart enough to know that he could not include any allegations in a court filing that he couldn't support with actual proof.

No prob. We’re living in interesting times, and I’m counting down the days to Wednesday like a kid counting down the days to Christmas. I believe that all hell could break loose, or it could be a quiet beginning. But if Biden is sworn in we are living in very dangerous times - internationally.

Trump was caught with his pants down when his administration acquiesced to shutting down the economy and not stopping mail in ballots by any means necessary.

The Law? What law? The Law is what the president says it is. The Law never got in Obama’s way when he wanted something.

Trump lost a second term when he didn’t root out every single Bush and Obama holdover and careerist at State, Intel and Defense Dept’s -

Trump wasn’t vicious enough FRom the git go

You have a point but mail in voting is rife with fraud, so much so that Democrats used to be against the idea and openly said so. The idea that anyone can vote without proving they have a right to do so is moronic, especially when you're required to prove you're eligible to do so many other things.

For what it's worth, some states adopted mail-in ballot measures that had nothing to do with COVID-19.

Pennsylvania, for example, passed a mail-in voting law in 2019 that allows anyone to vote by mail for any reason at all.

It was passed by a REPUBLICAN legislature.

I'm not sure what they expected to accomplish by doing this.

If we are smart about it we can make Democrats oppose mail-in balloting again.

My idea is to take a rural county with a population of 40,000 people or so in a state like Pennsylvania or Wisconsin ... and during the next statewide election in that state, have 500,000 ballots show up for the Republican candidate from voters who are suddenly registered to vote there. Have them registered as homeless people living on streets or in state parks and campgrounds, if necessary -- all legally, of course.

You'll see the tightest ballot security measures in the western world imposed after that.

Sorry, I have yet to see one ounce of evidence that Barrstool’s “team” investigated anything. Who did they interview in MI, WI, GA, AZ, NV, or PA? Did they seize any Dominion machines? No. (And I’m not in the Dominion-stole-it club, but they SHOULD have been investigated).

27 days to investigate six states’ worth of fraud? Doesn’t work.

Are you ready for this? The Qtips new moving-goal-post is that no, Trump won’t stay in office next Wed. but Biteme won’t be inaugurated and Grassley will be the interim, then they’ll bring back Trump.

Seriously.
