I would recommend dropping any comparisons of vote numbers from one election to another. There are simply more voters today than there were in 2008 or 2012, so comparing actual numbers is meaningless.

I'd also suggest that the idiotic mail-in ballot process pretty much ensured that Biden would get millions more votes than Obama even if only the legitimate ballots were counted. Enabling people to vote by mail drives up voter turnout in two groups: people who are lazy and people who are stupid. The vast majority of these people are going to be Democrats.

You have a point but mail in voting is rife with fraud, so much so that Democrats used to be against the idea and openly said so. The idea that anyone can vote without proving they have a right to do so is moronic, especially when you're required to prove you're eligible to do so many other things.

A diluted "mail-in" vote process plus years of anti-Trump conditioning/programming through traditional along with alternative outlets of millions who never voted before, aggressive canvassing by dem volunteers which included "harvesting", and failure to tighten election laws led to Biden's record totals.

The conditioning was so successful that individuals are "ratting-out" their relatives/co-workers to the authorities because the accused happen to be Trump supporters.

This election was unlike any before it due manipulating the landscape/laws due to Covid. Add loose restrictions and it is shooting fish in a barrel to individuals with an authoritarian agenda and no scruples to boot (Redundant, however, I do know authoritarians that accept defeat in the election process).

Ronald Reagan in his "conservative" prime could have been on the dem ticket and received the same number of votes than Biden. Knives were out for Trump in every facet of our society.
