I tried to sign up for CloutHub, but it required a phone number.
I’m not giving out any personal info like that would allow a hacker to identify me and doxx me.
Neither MeWe or Minds requires a phone number.
Perhaps the good thing about the Parler purge is people are realizing there are more alternatives out there than they realized.

Android allows 3rd party app stores now (but you do need to jump through some hoops, because by default the option is turned off).
Apple does not. They have hooks in the OS to disable anything not downloaded form their app store.
Opening up Apple phones to 3rd party apps might be a winnable case in court.
Apple does allow non-Apple-store apps on its computers, but again you have to jump through a couple of hoops to get them installed.

This is the other place they have been cutting off the right at the knees for a while: financial services.
Credit cards refuse to allow you to make payments, much less donations to certain conservative companies.
The donation services (like GoFundMe) also have cut off payments to conservative causes.

The big trick at MeWe is to join a handful of Groups. That gets a constant, but manageable stream of content in your Feed that interests you.

From there, you can converse in the Groups and make Contacts of users you find likeable. There’s also a way to run through your email Contact list in search of people you know who may already be signed up. And the permissions you give to your MeWe Contacts let you control how much presence they have on your Feed and in your Posts.
I will have to admit... Two days ago, I was helping a friend of mine set up an account, and due to whatever was going on with Gab, he was unable to set up the account. I was however able to login and use my account. However, about a day later. So it “could” be that the new account process is still suffering lingering problems from their BIG upgrade. Anyway, I hope you get an account set up soon. :-)
