Gab CEO completely backed up President Trump’s Twitter account before it was deleted and recreated him on Gab! What’s even more impressive is the did this while traffic was up 700% and under attack from leftists. Gab is currently having servers upgraded to handle the large influx in traffic but we’re told it should stabilize soon.
President Trump’s new account: https://gab.com/realdonaldtrump
I've been signed up for years {rarely post and only check it on sporadic occasions} but I tried to get in over the past week and the traffic level is too high.
I never twatted or fakebooked so I can't quit, and I thought about signing up, posting something patriotic and get banned, but decided why bother.
Happy dance 💃❣
I was able to sign up.
I’m Sunflower1776 if anyone cares.
I want to hook up with likeminded patriots ...trying to join the groups but site moving slow.
That was his last Tweet.
Is that you, Hillary?
Belichick is a cheater anyhow, doesn’t deserve it IMHO.
Wait a minute...
This seems like Gab transported all of Trumps Tweets to Gab and setup an account, but did he actually JOIN Gab?
Clicked your link and Gab worked just fine. Haven’t set up an account yet so maybe that side is overwhelmed.
We need Elon Musk
He’s insinuated he’s open to it and sure has the cash and the brain and is instinctively anti authoritarian
And has satellites
Private ones
And already has so:e hand held device tech in his arsenal
And he’s moving from California to Texas
Well, HERE’S something hugely positive about Gab:
“We don’t have any form of search that allows people to mass search for public statuses across the site. This is to protect our community from demonic journos who wish to ruin people’s lives for a politically incorrect post from five years ago. Journos are big mad about it too.”
— Andrew Torba, CEO, Gab

I have only a very foggy idea how some of the stuff works over there, and prolly won't even use it much/any, but I'm looking at it as a cleansing, cathartic $15/mo shower to wash away a bit of the totalitarian filth that's been floating in our national air for far far too long.
I signed up for Minds and MeWe recently.
Neither require your phone number or anything other than an email (supplying personal info like a phone number is a big NOPE for me).
So far, they look promising.
MeWe is definitely looking to be a Facebook competitor.
Minds seems to be a cross between Twitter and Facebook.
Sure, but how are you going to get it listed? For example, to get this new app store loaded on an iPhone so folks can use it, you would need to list your app store on...the apple app store. Good luck with that.
Great move but certainly not ‘impossible’. To dot his is simply walking the links on his page and recording the responses.
I think the tipping point for big tech was Gab's Dissenter plugin. Not sure if you remember, but this was a browser plugin that allowed you to create comments on ANY web page--including news sites that had banned comments.
The big tech left went crazy over it. They banned the plugin from their browsers, then went a step further and banned the apps, and then went after Gab's hosts.
Gab has already gone through what Parler is going through.
Since they are not allowed to have an app, Gab has optimized their web pages to work on a phone browser. This is their instructions for installing the Gab "app" on a mobile device:
Get the Gab App On Android:Launch “Chrome” app
Open Gab.com
Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap "Add to Home Screen."
You'll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.
Open the Gab app from your home screen.
Get the Gab app for iOS:
Launch “Safari” app
Open Gab.com
Tap the share icon (the button at the center of the footer on the bottom) scroll and tap "Add to Homescreen."
You'll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Safari will add the Gab app to your home screen.
Open the Gab app from your home screen.
Notice that what you are really doing is putting a shortcut to the Gab web page on your device. You are not really loading an app.
This is the route Parler will have to go through also. But, that's not too bad. Many phone apps are simply web pages wrapped in an app.
BTW, Gab's Dissenter browser still allows you to leave comments on any web page. Yea, they can only be seen by other's using the Dissenter browser, but it's still a step up from no comments at all.
Good info, thanks for posting.
How do some of you feel about their donation/pay arrangement? I’m honestly timid about entering my routing number and account numbers... Is this secure enough to do???
