Washington (CNN) — Washington, DC, Mayor Muriel Bowser on Monday urged Americans to avoid the city during President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration next week and to participate virtually following last week's deadly domestic terror attack on the US Capitol.
Meanwhile, the National Guard has plans to have up to 15,000 National Guard troops to meet current and future requests for the inauguration, Gen. Daniel Hokanson, the chief of the National Guard Bureau, said Monday. The dramatic increase in troops comes as law enforcement in the nation's capital and around the country brace for further extremist violence amid the transition of power.
Speaking at a news conference Monday, Bowser, a Democrat, stressed that she was concerned about more violent actors potentially coming to the city in the run-up to the inauguration, saying, "if I'm scared of anything, it's for our democracy, because we have very extreme factions in our country that are armed and dangerous."

I think we would have heard about this by now. Heard Trump was supposed to talk at 1:30 and heard nothing else.
Why? To have another ineffectual “revolution”, lose, and hand our enemies another moral panic?
What exactly is worth taking in Washington, DC? The country gets its orders from anonymous data centers distributed around the land, via hundreds of thousands of cell phone towers. Everyone in government has a hundred redundant replacements waiting to take over, all of whom will oppose you.
If you can have a quiet life, practice your faith, educate your kids and grandkids, and keep everyone safe from violent death, you’ll have achieved a great victory.
This is one time the patriots need to stay home. Let the troops do the job they're assigned to do by their commander in chief.
When people were attacked and beaten by BLM and antifa as they left the White House during the republican convention, no guard anywhere. General Milley shrunk back like a coward at using the guard to stop the BLM riots and burning.
Come Jan 20th I hope Biden is giving a speech to an empty field. Nobody will be listening anyway.

We will lose because we can’t plan. If we could plan, the Capitol would have been an easy target. But that would be a stupid plan, because taking the Capitol by a force of people imported from across the country wins us nothing.

Would’ve been better to have a full airing of the unconstitutional nature of the vote mechanism changes in PA, WI, MI, GA, etc. The legislature is the only actor which can do that, but judges and the execitive branch administrators unconstitutionally intervened.

The National Guard is coming in to help with parking and floral arrangements.

They want the guard armed and in militry vehicles. Now I thought just a few months ago this was discouraged as “over” bearing and intimidating? Which is it?
The main difference is the Nanzi isn't in charge of the security in this case; where the Capital is purposely and intentionally undermanned.
Anywhere else, the Capital fiasco would be called a "set up", with an intentional lack of security for several hundred thousands of people.
Given that it was an orderly demonstration to save the vote, except for some invaders who were already stationed at the Capital.
Bow Wow feels secure only in a Police State where she is in charge, and she needs to have the allure glistening in time for tourist season, or loose out on tourist taxes.
