More big businesses continued a boycott on Sunday of Republican members of Congress who followed Donald Trump's demands and voted to overturn the election.
JPMorgan Chase said that it will pause all contributions from its political action committee for at least the next six months, saying 'the focus of business leaders, political leaders, civic leaders right now should be on governing and getting help to those who desperately need it most right now. There will be plenty of time for campaigning later.'
U.S. digital payments company Stripe is to also stop processing payments for Trump's campaign website following the riot, a company spokesperson said.

This crap can happen to any of us at any time for good reason or no reason.
Digital money is locked down money. Confiscatable or stolen by ‘too big to fails.”
Sent to islamland or wu-flu land or UN-land.
In less than a week, another financial payments company will appear out of thin air...probably out of Texas, and continue on. It’s not rocket science to start-up this line of business.
Good luck getting the regulatory approval from the feds.
Too much of this doesn’t make sense, to me anyway. Why are all of these companies working so hard to hurt the Trump campaign when he’ll be gone in a few days? There is no Trump campaign. Nobody that appeared to support him in government supports him any longer. At this point in time there is nothing he can do to hurt them. They can turn their ire on his supporters but they seem to have government locked down. He shouldn’t be a threat.
Here is a question every Board of Directors globally must ask.
“Does the business sole source technology services from any unregulated firm protected by section 230?
If so, that is a critical business continuity issue.
With Trump is office, all these batshit crazy loons have Trump to focus on. When Trump is gone, they will turn their lusts for censorship and canceling on each other. Canceling conservatives today. Tomorrow? Who knows.
Some sales guy somewhere rapes a transvestite at a BLM bake sale and suddenly Salesforce.com gets canceled and de-platformed by AWS. Virtually anyone on business for the past decade has crossed paths with Salesforce.
What of Office365? Come in to work and your email service is gone.
The “cloud” has made itself an unacceptable business risk.
Stripe was the "free market" alternative. They came into being after PayPal stated blacklisting people.
Ultimately all of these companies depend on Visa and/or Mastercard to do their underwriting. Guess who set up advisory boards to counter Right-Wing extremism?
The market can't fix this, because the market created it
Capital is Woke, and is inherently Anti-conservative. This isn't the 1950s, and people need to wake up to the fact that the big sponsors of Cultutal Marxism and the erosion of Civil liberties is Wall Street.
I don’t see a good way out of that. Except, of course, totally anonymous financial transactions. But then taxes would be virtually impossible. And drugs and human trafficking would be facilitated. There are lot of downsides to anonymous finances. But I can’t think of another way to make it impossible to dodge the Mark of the Beast — because we seem to be there right now. You can neither buy nor sell in the marketplace unless your politics are approved by The Party.
It is like the conservatives cannot get up and respond. They are alsnsky-ed over and over. I understand how mao and Hitler took the power
It is NOT about President Trump, It is about strangling Patriots..
THEY WANT US DEAD..
Right now the hardliners in the Democratic Party are demanding banks freeze out the GOP as a whole. Joe Biden is the one arguing for restraint saying the GOP still needs to exist...for now.
I hope Xi steps in and can restore sanity to the USA. /SARCASM
Can you post a link to that?
1. They are inherently deferential to authority and are hierarchical. They obey the rules and wait for someone to tell them what to do. Hence the perpetual cries of, "Where is the FBI? Where is Congress?"
2. They suffer from normalcy bias. They tend to think things cannot ever really radically change, and thus are disinclined to take action because nothing bad can ever really happen.
3. They are productive and family focused, which is good for society but makes them not fully aware of political events.
4. They project their attitudes and values on to their enemies. They are incapable of understanding sociopathy and that people would want to be destructive for irrational reasons.
Biden clearly states he wants the GOP to still exist. The party will obviously have to undergo a process similar to Denazification with purges, but he doesn't want it gone. The savvier members in the DNC realize the effectiveness of a shell opposition party, after all China and East Germany both used the concept.
The insane catladies who binge watch Rachel Maddow are the ones demanding the GOP is outright liquidated.
It wasn’t a caucus. It was 80 million Done with tge corruption btw
People and organizations are choosing sides, they should choose wisely.
WWI began when those in power did not fully understand the dynamics of the day. They made what they believed to be rational decisions only to have those decisions bite them in the butt.
One of the big losers in the aftermath of WWI was the decline of royalty. Any royals left today are mostly ceremonial with little real power and certainly not the power they had before the war.
The can be said for the super rich of the time. After the war socialism got a foot hold in Europe and the UK and to some extent in the US. For socialism to even appear to work takes a lot of money, and the only money governments have is that what they take from others.
The Great Depression was the Covid19 of the 1930s. The depression was the excuse to ignore our constitution and to get the government involved in people’s private lives.
The terms of Germany’s surrenders were so bad that WWII was inevitable.
WWII was another great shock to the world where millions were led to the slaughter. I don’t think Europe or the UK have yet recovered from the loss of manpower and intellect because of the war.
The only good thing that came out of WWII was that the US became a superpower. Looking back in history you will discover that the history of Europe is a history of war. For 2000 years you can barely find a time that war was not being fought on European soil. But for the past 75 or so years Europe has had “peace”. And why is that? Because the US the one real superpower protects Europe.
Who are the Europeans going to call when they find there is no big brother around to protect them?
All the joy of seeing the US humiliated and weaken will turn to ashes in their mouth.
The old saying be careful for what you wish for, you might get it may become true for the Europeans.
I have no idea how all this is going to play out but I suspect the chance for a peaceful conclusion is slim simply like the leaders before WWI the current powers that be don’t fully understand themselves the dynamics of what they are putting into play.
You and I are thinking the same way. The only thing I can come up with is they’re trying to change the conversation away from voter fraud.
