Good we can have impeachment trials of Obama and Biden after the 2024 elections.

For God’s sake Republicans stand up.
Charge Biden Harris Pelosi with inciting violence and fomenting a coup.
Tell them if they disqualify Trump they must go as well.
Of course it won’t happen but put them on public trial.

No we can hopefully impeach Biden and Harris after the 2022 electing if we have the House.

He’s corrupt as well as incited violence.

How can they impeach a President who isn’t President, IF Trump doesn’t become President?

“Clyburn: House may wait until after Biden’s first 100 days to send impeachment articles to Senate”

Clyburn: House may wait until after Biden’s first 100 days to send impeachment articles of Joe Biden to Senate

There, that’s what he meant to say.

You’re so silly. You think we still have elections.

But he won’t be president.

You can’t impeach someone who does not hold the office.

Yes we have them and the House easily is within reach.

If they’re going to do it then they need to impeach while Trump is still president. The trial can come after January 20th but voting to impeach him after he’s out of office probably wouldn’t withstand the legal challenges, assuming Trump hires someone other than Giuliani and Dershowitz to fight it for him.

It doesn’t work that way. Liberals are such morons. They might as well try to impeach Lincoln.

“An impeached President can never run for federal office again.”

No, it doesn’t work that way. You cannot impeach a prior president.

I used to simply state they hate Trump more than they love
the nation.

That really doesn’t begin to cover it these days.

This shows how much they just shoot their mouth off and have zero idea what they are talking about. IF the president is no longer the president the impeachment cannot continue. However there seems to be no constitution so that may be it.

“House may wait until after Biden’s first 100 days to send impeachment articles to senate”

That’s a lot longer than I thought Joe would last..I thought they would give him, at the most 60 days.

When they can impeach and try average citizens...

Impeachment was developed in the 1500s as a tool to block the King from appointing ministers whom Parliament did not want. At that time, the appointments were royal prerogative, with no requirement that the Executive command a majority in Parliament, as is the case today.

>This policy was carried over into our Constitution in two ways: First, the requirement that the Senate give advice, and then consent, to certain appointments, and second, that the Senate have the power to bar impeached individuals from future government appointments.

So, yes, the House could certainly impeach you or I, and the Senate, if we were convicted, could punish us by making us ineligible to serve in public office.

By the same token, Obama can be impeached also. Assuming Trump retains office. I don’t have much faith in that, but some hold out hope.

LOL, the ignorant ass. You can’t impeach him after he’s left office. This is the level chimpanzee level of intelligence in the leadership of congress.

Several saying they can’t impeach a president once he’s left office. Probably true, but here they plan to impeach him while he is still in office and then try him after he’s left office.

Not sure that’s ever happened before or, if the constitution specifically addresses such a situation.

"An impeached President can never run for federal office again."

Uh, wasn't bill clinton impeached first and then won his re-election? Correct me if I'm wrong.
