Republican legislators who challenged Joe Biden’s electoral college victory may be expelled from Congress under a planned resolution.
Newly elected Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) on Wednesday revealed the draft proposal shortly after Trump supporters broke into the Capitol, causing chaos and destruction. The crowd delayed the counting of Biden’s election victory under the baseless pretext that the election was “stolen,” as President Donald Trump has often repeated.
“I believe the Republican members of Congress who have incited this domestic terror attack through their attempts to overturn the election must face consequences,” Bush said in a statement. “They have broken their sacred Oath of Office.”

They succeeded in stealing an election, why wouldn’t they try it?
So basically, anyone who disagrees with me or opposes me is violating their oath before God.
A pogrom or “cultural revolution” by any other name would smell as rotten.
Didn’t the Brownshirts have people on the sidelines in the Reichstag to encourage proper voting? Maybe they should try that. Nip these problems in the bud.
Opposing vote-rigging is now a “stunt”?
(1) This may not be constitutional.
(2) The GOP is likely to take over in 2022, and could use this precedent to expel Swalwell, Alcee Hastings and a host of others.
And we’ll still be here typing and crying instead of armed and trying to take back our country, peacefully, but showing up armed en masse.

This is because the election was a fraud and they all knowingly defrauded the American people.... they are behaving as if they are guilty.
Expel all those that supported BLM’s looting and rioting and chaos.

Broken their sacred oath of office? The part where it says ‘to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and Domestic’?
Appears as though this new twit is a clear and present danger.
Where exactly is constitutionality to be upheld these days?
And just how is our now-established system of election fraud going to allow any type of GOP majority that would do anything about it?
I want the GOP to die! They showed us their true colors last night. They are far more dangerous than Democrats. They betrayed our President and us the voters. They can never be trusted with power again.
Accepting the fraudulent electors was unconstitutional. Want a do over, Nancy?
They brag about their lawlessness and abuse of civil rights?
Do they not see that they are condemning themselves in history?
Per the constitution requires a 2/3 vote of the membership. The one “modern” republican who has shown leadership is Kevin McCarthy and it would be suicide for him to allow such a vote to succeed. The GOP already committed suicide, so a lot of rank and file GOP can jump off the cliff if they so wish.
The American people are now being governed by the inmates of the asylum. And, the “Republican Party” is complicit in this insanity. And, the insane are actively and openly discussing the persecution of those who disagree with them and there’s nary a peep from the “Republican Party” condemning any of it.
