Not how it's supposed to be done. Yes, a lawyer must move to withdraw if (supposing it's true) the client demands that the lawyer do something illegal (like presenting false testimony). But you never put that in publicly-filed papers. You file a motion to withdraw saying there is "an irreconcilable disagreement" with the client, or something bland like that; if the client, or the judge, pushes back, you say "judge, we need to discuss this in chambers." You never accuse publicly your own client of illegality if there's any way to avoid it.
I have no idea what the back-story is here, but this lawyer is very much not impressing me with his sense of legal ethics.

Sense of legal ethics? I get the guy is probably trying to protect his livelihood because dem thugs are going to come after him, but he should be disbarred for his clearly unethical “motion”.

What’s the crime?

"the lawyer considers repugnant"
That paints a vivid picture. Imagine how bad something would have to be for a lawyer to consider it repugnant.
Of course, he is a professional liar...

Really weird that everyone is running away from Trump. It’s not natural.
Satan or China is at work.

Trump picked this lawyer? Good grief.

This idiot will never be forgiven for ever helping Trump by the libtards. And now he will be considered a traitor by conservatives.
I hope he likes his future life as an ambulance chaser.

“Marcus wrote that “the client has used the lawyer’s services to perpetrate a crime . . .”
Is the lawyer admitting that he (the lawyer) was involved in a crime?
What did the lawyer know and when did he know it?
This lawyer needs to immediately surrender his law license until this is all cleared up.

He got the horse’s head in his bed with a note saying either you denounce Trump, or consider yourself disbarred.

Agreed. That was grossly unprofessional of him. Especially when it is almost certainly unnecessary because I doubt Trump is opposing the withdrawal. His original, big firm lawyers in PA certainly didn’t do this when they withdrew.
Even where a judge has a local rule or procedure requiring specific grounds in a motion to withdraw, I ignore that and offer to provide the reason in camera.
