Gore and Hillary conceded. Has nothing to do with what’s going on now.

Concession has no legal standing. You can concede and still become president if the certified electors vote for you.

We are at the grasping at straws stage, and this looks to be the last remaining straw.

Might as well let people grasp and hope for the best.

You are very wrong. There are precedents that Pence can follow. Using Biden choosing Hillary if he wanted to is a very bad analogy.

President Trump is making this claim based on a tweet from Jenna Ellis, one of his top legal attorneys. Mike Pence is the president of the Senate and there are no constitutional obstacles regarding his options to throw out illegal fraudulent EC votes.

Now we know why all the "moderators" aksed President Trump if he would leave the White House if he wasn't re-elected.

They knew the fix was in. In fact, they were in on the fix. They knew they and demonicRATS would drag this out all the way to Inauguration Day.

How so? Had he not gone to court he never would have been able to claim he tried every legal avenue. Had he not gone to court he would have no option, no opportunity to declare martial law or invoke the insurrection act if it comes to that.
Losing in every legal avenue hurts his case. The President can declare and invoke without losing cases first.

They are the tie-breaker.

That characterization troubles me. The three branches are co-equal.

> The idea that so much power would be vested in a single office of the federal government is about as un-conservative a notion that one can imagine.

Yep, you nailed it. People here are going off the rails.

You are very wrong. No one person can make the determination of fraudulent EC votes. If the majority of each house rejected the electors, then yes, but what you're proposing is both insane and illegal. Slow down and think... you're saying 1 man, without any checks and balances can throw out electors, and the simple fact is they can't.

The plane trip to Scotland is for Pence. He’ll have to leave the country and not return.

I am seriously beginning to be more terrified of that 2 bit whore becoming POTUS after Biden slips and falls repeatedly into his basement!

I don’t understand your concern. Why do you think there are THREE branches? Not two. Not four.

One can imagine cases where any two branches disagree on something. Which of those two branches gets priority and gets to “win” the argument? I say that the third branch of government makes a decision to side with one side or the other so that the disagreement becomes 2 against 1.

That seems fair and straight-forward to me and very much one point to the current problem.

Republican establishment is also in on it. Stop blaming the “Democrats” without blaming the Republicans too.

Except if either Gore had gone for afore or Biden for Hillary in those past two elections. They would have had to claim fake ballots and voter fraud, in which there would have been plenty of proof of voter fraud...DEMOCRAT voter fraud and they knew they had to shut up
Or be exposed. That’s why neither one did what Pence CAN and SHOUKd do.

Losing in every legal avenue hurts his case.

Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that losing in every legal avenue shows he has NO case?

Can Pence delay? For the 10 day electoral commission?

The objectors may be able to delay by objecting to more than the six battleground states.

The key is to delay so the state legislatures have a chance to decertify Biden or certify for Trump.

All of the battleground states come into session in the next 10 days.

The Constitution is being ignored by Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Nevada when it comes to their state legislators owning the election process. It can be ignored by Pence as well. Not only that, the supreme court no longer exist as they have committed legal suicide by running from their primary duty of resolving issues between states. We are playing by new rules and no longer bound by the Constitution. In fact, I think the new rules give states that aren’t on either the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean 10 extra representatives in the House and two extra Senators each in the Senate.

The Republican governor of Georgia and Arizona are fighting Trump. The Republican leadership of the Senate is fighting Trump. The No 3 Republican leader of the House - Liz Cheney - is at the head of a phalanx of Republican congressmembers who are fighting Trump. Republican consultants like Rove and Luntz are fighting Trump

Don’t lay the blame on the “DemonCRATS”. They couldn’t do jack if the GOP wasn’t allowing it - and even helping it to happen
