@daveweigel

Unexpected statement from Paul Ryan: "It is difficult to conceive of a more anti-democratic and anti-conservative act than a federal intervention to overturn the results of state-certified elections and disenfranchise millions of Americans."

This may be the first public statement he’s made since leaving Congress. I can’t recall any others.

Agree. Ryan proving once again the GOP is a malignant force in American politics. If the only power we have is to burn down the Party of Lincoln so be it. We need a genuine opposition party to the progressive-corportist alliance. Until that happens nothing else matters.

Too long to list. RINOs abound.

It would easier to list the loyal Republicans than the traitorous democRAT commie wing of the GOP.

If you didn’t vote for Romney/Ryan in 2012 - then you helped Obama/Biden and you served as a useful idiot for the Democrats.

So you are saying Senator Shelby is a “useful idiot” for the Democrats for telling GOP voters not to support the GOP nom to replace Sessions? The progressive Democrat won that race and Obamacare repeal failed by ONE vote.

Are you saying Senator Graham is a “useful idiot” for refusing to support POTUS in 2016?

How about Senator Romney? Is he a “useful idiot” for voting to impeach POTUS?

You want more examples? I could give you the whole useless GOP Senate if you want.

Ryan is a Republican party man. We must hold the GOP as an institution accountable for corrupt Quislings like Ryan. That means not voting for Republicans on our ballots. Period.

He never said it in office either, and he had been there since 1999. They tried to derail Bush in both his election and reelection and were both terms were contested.

“Bill Bennett Jr. When I heard POS Bill Bennett touting Paul Ryan I knew he was no good. Then he had his ass handed to him in the VP debate by a smirking, grinning fool.”

So true.

Ryan hasn’t made any public statements of significant at all. On any topic. He’s been basically radio silent the last two years. That he is not so randomly dipping his toes in this issue very telling. They all hate Trump and want him gone.

> BTW, I don’t understand what is going on w/Pence...First he is going to leave country on Jan 6, then his lawyers get Ghomert’s case to get him to act thrown out, then next day, it is all over the internet that “Pence is in” and going to do right thing...What am I missing and what is going on w/Pence?

Pence is at the center of the center of the cesspool right now, because his duties as described in the Constitution (and never amended) are more than ceremonial.

Unlike perhaps 99% of DC politicians, no one has ever caught Pence in a honey pot operation. Apparently Pence has been distant from traditional bribery (eg setting up a non-revocable trust, directing a part of his bribes to it, and having his family live off of it forever).

So everyone is panicking because no one can reach him and he apparently is keeping his cards close to his vest.

JMHO

That was obvious when he was Speaker of the House. But my comment was that he never made such a statement when Democrats objected to election results in both 2000 & 2004 elections. He was around for these events.

Yes he finally has accused President Trump of striking at the very foundation of our republic. Like a Democrat he is projecting what he himself is doing by aiding and abetting the, in your face, theft of an election.

The Republican Party is officially dead now.

Stealing an election and going along with it is the true detriment to our Constitutional Republic. And if Ryan doesn’t know that, he is dumber than a box of rocks. And if he does, then he’s uttering seditious lies.

“Are you saying Senator Graham is a “useful idiot” for refusing to support POTUS in 2016?“

Yes. Exactly. Graham was a useful idiot in 2016 for refusing to support POTUS. How is that NOT being a useful idiot?

“How about Senator Romney? Is he a “useful idiot” for voting to impeach POTUS?“

Yes. Exactly. Romney was a useful idiot for voting to impeach POTUS.

???? I’m a bit confused here because your examples are proving my point for me...

What am I missing?
You do know what the term “useful idiot” means, right?
Unwittingly serving the enemy’s cause...?

What you are missing is who the “enemy” is. I’ll buy you clue: the 4 year long coup and now steal are fully bipartisan in nature. Graham, Shelby and the rest are as culpable as the Democrats.

Rand Paul is more of a libertarian, more no to war and no to spending and will vote his conscience. Rand was not big on Bush’s wars which got some upset here. Paul Ryan is a globalist establishment who doesn’t have a conscience. Paul Ryan will support a Democrat over a conservative Republican.

I get that, but Uniparty or no Uniparty...

Graham was still a useful idiot for the Left when he wouldn’t support Trump
Romney was still a useful idiot for the Left when he voted to impeach Trump

So your previous post still makes no sense.
