1) Just finished a discussion with a pro-Trump congressional source on procedures. Very high.

2) On Jan. 6, all that is needed is 1 senator (Hawley) and 1 Congressman (Brooks) to bring an objection to an elector slate (almost certainly AZ, since that will be the first contested.

3) The rules are made by the previous congress; the laws already in place bind the procedures.

4) Pence has no authority on his own to accept or reject any slate. According to source, he will turn to the Parliamentarian for a ruling on how to proceed.

It is over. Trump is doing nothing to overturn the election beyond talk. Giuliani was a failure. Not a single state reversed. These Hail Mary’s by the Supreme Court and now the Congress are pathetic wishful thinking. At best, virtual signalling that won’t change the outcome. Trump was cheated out of reelection and when cheap on fighting it, now is going out with barely a whimper. Worse, he signed the Covid bill reversing many key points that got him support in the first place—now gives aid to illegal aliens and bars significant border wall construction. I guess time for us Trump supporters to move on.

Freepers gave up before the election when we ignored PDJT’s warnings that the election would be stolen. We chose instead to believe those here who said that PDJT was going to win in such a large landslide that there would be no way the Democrats and their allies could do such a thing. Others chose instead to believe the false prophets who claimed they talk directly to God and were told by Him that PDJT would win on election day.

We should have been vigorously proactive and tried to figure out how they were going to steal the election and then took steps to prevent it. But instead we gave up and choose to believe the bull shit artists.

I agree to an extent, there was a LOT of wishful thinking that Trump had a master plan that was so intricate and secret that nobody could see any indication of it.

That said, the country underwent a CIA backed color revolution starting in the summer. Quite frankly, had they wanted to they probably could have completely destroyed the government but they backed off for some reason we may never know.

Unless people were willing to escalate the situation to start open conflict with the BLM/Antifa bad actors, I don't see what we could have done. They literally destroyed almost all of the nation's urban areas to accomplish this, and they accepted that as collateral damage. They were willing to bring a Syrian style Civil War to America, average Americans weren't.
